This will be two different cracks at a 3 round mock draft for the Cowboys based on the players I’ve studied in the 2023 NFL Draft so far.
Disclaimer: I’m only about 35-40 players in to this thing. By next week that number will be more like 60-80 and I’ll have a better handle on all the positions. But enjoy the mayhem!

I hope you're doing good these days. I guess you do because you're busy and that's a good way to to take care of mental health. I'm writing these words from France & I'm a die-hard Cowboys fan. I don't know a lot about football, just a little bit about where I played: in the trenches on offense and defense. That's probably why I'm poor at scouting other positionsand, off course, the "sexy picks" as WR, RB or DB. So I'm looking at and try to scout O and D line.
I watch all your podcasts and Voch's but almost always on replay because of the jet lag. I watched a few college football games and I'd like to have your thoughts and Voch's ones on the list of O and D linemen I tryed to scout You'll maybe answer this list during the next Scoutkast when you'll do the linemen. I don't know the name of the players or they will enter the draft this year, only their number & college. So, here's my list :
Olinemen: LSU #70 & #75, Penn State #58 & #77.
Dlinemen: Penn State #97, Texas #99, Auburn #26.

Jeff always wants to draft wide receiver, I'm sure he will get one in the 1st round.
Getting the best iOL is a smart move. Zack Martin is still gret, so we'd have a solid line. Give Dak Time, and our RBs running lane. Bbut for it to be a succesful idea, JJ and SJ HAVE to bring some serious FA either at corner or WR
Remember Dak needs a really good receiver it will be less Dak would have to do.

Michael Mayers ( I like him, I see mismatches) and then release shultz for cap.
Get WR in Free agency, if not in draft.
2nd round: CB if not in first/ TE if not in first.
We better get Mingo from Ole Miss. He's a underrated beast. Trust me.
We already have Brandon Smith from Iowa. He's a BEAST.
Get a pocket moving DT in FA and a CB we'll be fine

What about Jalen Tolbert? Ced Wilson took 4 years to develop and Noah Brown took 5 or 6. However, They were 6th rounders I believe.
But what position has more impact CB or IOL? I think we take the more important position, plus look later in pff CB ranking Ringo & Cam Smith are there. most others have them 1st Rd.

Honestly outside of QB I liked the first draft. Both positions of need and talented prospects. I would take Porter if he was there personally though even though realistically he'll be gone in the top 15 come draft day

I think Josh Boutte was having so much fun off the field with his coaches getting sum booty that his performance on the field suffered because of that!

Agree if a great WR not available when we pick then go for great TE but we need many positions so I say go with best available in first round with WR, TE, CB, LB & definitely Olinemen I’d take swing tackle bc would mind having a good O linemen that can play LG or RG so we can have back up for Martin if something was to happen and to replace our current guy at LG bc he a free agent and we all know Tyler Smith is the future at LT & also wouldn’t mind having a swing tackle that can play LT or RT just in case they get hurt lol hey I can dream lol

Not a fan at all of O'Cyrus Torrence I am NOT understanding where how and why people feel the need to draft him as a RD1 IOL. I don't see his value worth a first round pick.
