Start Swinging With Your Body (Instantly)



Here I’m showing you a couple of students who start swinging with their body instantly after doing my favorite drill.

So I have a drill that will get you to start using your body instantly. This means you need to start doing this drill immediately so you get your body moving too. The true power in the swing comes from using your legs and hips to hit the golf ball. Once you see that you too can start swinging with your body instantly too you need to keep doing this daily.

To start swinging with your body instantly takes work. I am not going to say this will be mastered in a few swings. This will show you that you can get into the same positions as pros through impact instantly. It’s up to you to keep doing it so you always use your body to hit the ball.

You do not need to go to the range to do this drill. You can start swinging with your body instantly at home doing practice swings. See why this is my favorite drill? It makes a huge difference to your swing. Get this and you will hit the ball longer than ever.

  2. I have forever wanted to have that whoosh sound but never had it. Ok what I got out of this video is,

    1. Make sure the club is high off the ground as shown.
    2. Let the first swing be slow.
    3. Then build up and get louder and louder whooshing noises.
    4. And do lots of them.
    5. 1000’s of them
    6. It’s a forever drill
    7. Obviously there’s no magic bullet but in saying that, this might be a major key for me.

  3. Paul- Great tip as always. I still have to work more often. But it’s the best drill to cover so many areas. Quick question……Is there a tip showing how to get into that perfect position during your setup to the ball? I still struggle with to close or reaching to fat. Thanks as always.   4. I hit driver straight as possible, but hit irons all over the place…fats/thins. I’m assuming this drill is done exactly the same way with the irons?

  5. Great drill as always. I am a scratch golfer with the drill, but fall apart putting it into practice.

  6. Paul. Hadn’t played in years but started working on that body swing with movement to show heal and cheek.
    Helped with over the top and chunking the ball too.
