Absolutely loving this channel 😁😁😁
SH: "I think the plant distracted you… an actual plant!"
Very good class. I like it so much
Gr8 Stuff, as usual. 👍
That Hendy challenge shot was beautiful! And I'm giving that a B+ in my personal scoring table .. Chris' was a B.
Hendry can still be a top player if it practiced a little I don't know why he doesn't just play in events and stop waisting the tour card.
I'd give anything to have a lesson from the most ruthless winner in sport like Ben has had here 🎉❤
Great video, could have been twice as long, Ben is such a nice chap.
Here's my little tip for cushion shots for what it's worth:
Like Stephen said keep the cue as parallel to the table as possible, you may even feel the tip drag slightly on the baize (mine always does) I feel this helps keep the tip on centre of the cueball and not put unwanted side on.
Stephen also mentioned earlier in the video about the pause in the cue action before striking the cue ball. This to me is when it can help massively (when on cushion shots) as your taking your last feather…..pause, then use the time in the pause to look at the object ball and hit it online. This really works and once you get the nak of it you won't go back to doing what you did before learning this little tip.
If your dead straight to middle and on the cushion focus on keeping the head still, pause…..then most importantly focus on delivering the cue as straight as possible (as if your cueing your cue through both balls and into the centre of the pocket. This really really helps with straight shots, especially to the middle.
Hope that helps somebody for what it's worth.
Enjoy🙂🎱
Excellent… as usual..👍
Fabulous stuff. I’m going to be practising shots off the cushion this week after watching this. Great video again from Stephen and the team!
I could have watched a much longer video. It's an amazing channel and time just flies watching your videos
For a game that involves terms like 'pots' and 'plants' it's probably not a good idea to have plants in pots just next to the table! 🤓
Really great stuff. Not only is this the best snooker channel but the best YouTube channel overall. But what to expect from the Greatest snooker player and the biggest personality anyway, right? Such a treat! I'll open a bottle of bubbles when Stephen reaches the well-deserved 100.000 subs soon. Cheers!
Such a good channel.
Brilliant
6.28 the most important tips I learn
👍
This channel is such a breath of fresh air, love it!!
Stheph toooooo authentic. 💪✊️
Simply brilliant, Stephen is such a natural presenter + tutor with a great personality, best YT channel I'd say.
Good video Stephen, thank you
0:30 Those plants are in the way. Nothing more annoying than trying to take a shot only to find stuff behind you in the way.
This is spot on for me, exactly what this channel should be doing – really great stuff.
Ben could use a little help with his stance as well.😉😊
Impeded by a 'plant' no pun intended lol 2:38 on the rest shot tip too far away from cue ball, come on Stephen! On slow mo replay you can see he hit the pink slightly on left side looking at it from below, still good!
Did anyone else notice that Ben lifts his bridge hand while he's delivering the cue?
I hope he sends you a copy of the paper!
This was done 3 weeks ago not 22 hours ago.
Hendry saying those pockets are quite forgiving… Then immediately after he says how they're very close to professional tournament standard… Yeah, those look tight AF mate. I've never seen pockets that tight outside of tournament tables anywhere, and at a glance on camera, they look no more generous than the tournament ones anyway, so the difference must be minuscule. Hendry is just so used to the pro tables he considers those forgiving. Wow.
Funny how he asked Stephen to help him with the side pocket , poor guy still has nightmares from Williams
Stephen Hendry..Conceited to the core lol…Was happy beating a slightly above average pissed out bottler Jimmy.and over the hill Davis! Never beat a great player in world finals but rather lost to players like Ken & Ebdon in world finals lmao What’s funnier Is hendry was effectively finished as an elite player in his early thirties. The piss poor era great! 👎👎👎

Here's my personal tip, which actually applies not only to cue ball on cushion as well as pink ball potting, but at pretty much all shots: Chin must remain on the cue from the moment you're going down on the shot until object ball gets to pocket. Not only it guarantees that head remains still, but also it's an additional point of contact for the cue, which helps with straight cueing!
Top class! 👍🏼
This channel is superb and Stephen explains the shot so well.
Ben has pretty good technique I would say
