I think that if you want more passion then you have to pay players less. Logically, if you want them to play for the love of it money wouldn’t even need to be involved. It should be a side effect rather than a selling point.
Jalen green at his peak will be Like Jamal Crawford. The talent and skill is undeniable but he doesn't affect winning and is not a reliable consistent scorer.

I was told at the beginning of the season that they were a team to not expect much from this season because they are young but the other teams who are also young at least look like they are trying to win. I feel bad for some of the young guys on the team that are fighting to get any sort of minutes over the guys who are so keen on being on a highlight reel instead of winning games.
"Ruining" is a bit extreme. You're comparing players to the exception to the rule in SGA. They're still young. I can't put Melo in this bc the team trajectory was going up until this season started horribly. As for Green/Porter Jr. It takes a lot to develop. Each level of 🏀 is different. Coaching, vets, accountability are what's needed & HOU doesn't have that & they want to lose. So I can't put it all on the players. I'ma give them time. The NBA is a business nobody plays JUST for the love of the game don't fool yourself, otherwise they'd be at the park
OKC is also a team that has guys that had a nice playoff run with CP3 on it SGA aka The Leader of that team now. The Rockets have none of that there and no true veteran leaders there sadly. They got John Wall out of there instead of allowing him to play and teach them how to win. What you see in OKC is a culture CP3 ingrained in the guys still there from that run still competing. This Rockets team is more like the Wolves before Jimmy Butler got there.
