I think the nhl needs to change the buzzer beater to the nba buzzer beater as long as the puck isn’t on the stick it should be fine

I also didn’t know about the blocker thing. I took a couple of those to the bucket in my day
I remember Copley being a bit of a hothead when he was with the Hershey Bears. (He never really was able to crack the Caps lineup much.) And Gibson seemed really disappointed the ref told him to go back to his crease. I think he was spoiling for a fight as well.
How about Larkin getting thrown out for cross checking Oshie, followed by the next game when Lindgren gets a minor for the same play on Michael Rasmussen? And the waste of time reviewing Lindgrens!? Dang it officials!
I think two other Dang-its on the Kings-Ducks fight should be noted: the guy blocked his own guy in the head with the first swing. And the woman announcer calling John Gibson, Paul Gibson. Not sure if I have the right one, but doesn’t one play hockey and the other played baseball?
I liked that Gibson skated to the line and tapped his stick in a challenge, but didn’t cross that line so he wasn’t “technically” instigating the fight by waiting in the neutral zone. He didn’t risk getting kicked out too.

Things should be counted for being cool.
NHL should institute the buzzer beater rule like the NBA. If the shot is released and off the shooter's stick before going in the net when time expires, it should count.

As a Vegas fan I would have allowed it in real time, I said it was ok as I was watching. Post OT loss anyways, I still would have allowed it. Kane should have been given that goal just for the story.
