I always get in a golf frenzy when the spring is on its way here in Sweden and this series has certainly pushed me towards going to the range this week and just working on my shots. Love the explained thought process behind every decision/shot as well, very interesting for me as a 18hcp golfer. Can't wait to go out and just play a 9-hole pay2play and think about my shots this way.
That turf interaction at the end has been huge for me and I'm glad to finally get validation for that. It can cause changes in path, face, and even club selection if the bounce of the club doesn't feel right on a particular lie.

I drowned one on that first hole but made bogie. I'm born again every spring Playa. You probably haven't experienced a proper winter too often. I am aching to play. I would sell my children to play all year round.

Love what coach said about putting. You gotta wanna make it more. I agree. Too many people are happy with 2 putts, from ANYWHERE. You gotta focus on less than 30 putts per round. That’s 7 one-putts, and zero three-putts. That’s VERY doable for ANYONE.
I found it interesting you were brave enough to go for the green on #17 from that bunker. Not sure I've seen many people do that because of the guaranteed double if you miss slightly. But then said you are reluctant to hit the fairway wood on #18. Yes, water left but from where you were, it would take a serious hook to go there and there is room to the right. Note that when the Asia Ladies Amateur was at that same course Waterside in November, I didn't see a single lady lay up on 18.
