Waiting for the delusional Fury Fanboys to comment and deny some basic truths. 1. Usyk was happy with the deal the Saudis offered but Fury wasn’t. Please don’t say it was due to the stadium not being finished otherwise how could the Saudis have made a deal with Usyk 2. Fury knew this meant it would then be a much lower amount of money to be negotiated for Wembley purse split. So just reflect on that: Fury didn’t feel he was being paid enough by the Saudis so took the negotiations where he’d be certain to be paid less? Obviously he’s not that stupid so he knew he would then be making unrealistic purse split demands and that would give him an out. 3. This is the stage we’re at with the Wembley purse being negotiated. But Team fury didn’t bank on team Usyk being vocal enough for anyone except fury fanboys to work out who is holding the fight up and why. It’s not about money, it’s about him ducking but with as legitimate excuse as possible. But any excuse is legitimate in the eyes of the Fanboys who allow Fury to do this. It’s your fault for effectively being religious in your love for him.
If it was about money, Fury would have taken the Saudi offer, which would have been at least 3 times more than he can make in the UK. Now he wants more than 50/50 because he knows that is what Usyk wants.
So, if it's not about money what is it then? It's about Fury not wanting to have anything to do with Usyk. Hats off to Fury if he finally takes the fight but Usyk has all the wrong atributes to Fury. He's fast, agile, has stunning foot work, head movement and best boxing IQ in the business and like Peter Fury said years ago, very difficult to figure out.
Usyk made AJ look like an amateur and while Fury is an actual good boxer with height advantage, he will suddenly look slow and clumsy. Good luck trying to lean on Usyk, it aint happening.
People said Fury was scared of Wilder and Whyte and he fought them so it was all lies about Fury.
