  1. A Good Good golf range franchise would probably make you a billion dollar company.

Driving ranges are the most lucrative part of the golf industry. Most courses lose money on course upkeep and break even with their range. Make profit from pro shop.

  2. A circle range would be a huge liability, a slice from any spot would hit someone, people would get knocked out by random sliced

  3. Y'all need to buy a warehouse and fill them with trackman pods and rent them out hourly! Been seeing a lot of these pop up and you guys would kill it!

  4. I think Matt's out of something. I'm sure there are more people like me who have been playing for eight plus years in the Midwest. getingt about 5 months of play time and even less daylight and can only make it out four or five times a year. So you don't want to waste your time at the driving range. Having people stare at you while you're trying to learn. So you just go to the course and try to learn there a 24/7 would alleviate both problems of not looking like a fool and having to worry about the sun going away

  5. Boys if you see this – I go to a 24/7 indoor range in Chicago that works well / similar to what you’re saying. Happy to provide more details if your interested

  6. The driving range at Orange County National is DEFINITELY an awesome template!

  7. bro….supercircle is a bad Idea…. errant shots (major block slices, and shanks) will end up hurting people

  8. Why not just a course, as a blank canvas to build or design what you want. much better than a range only.

  9. You guys may want to take a trip to Orlando, FL… take a look at Orange Country National's Driving range. It's the largest and most pristine driving range in the United States. I get my lessons there and my coach takes me to different parts of the range to work on different angles in to different situations. I think if you are serious about that next step with a range…. they held the PGA show there this year for a reason…. definitely look at that range because you'll get a lot of ideas from it. Good luck on your endeavors!

  10. There's unmanned 24/7 indoor ranges in Canada. You book a time slot whenever you want and they send you a link that unlocks the front door 10mins before your time slot. You play on a trackman/foresight in your own booth. No employees present.

  11. Anytime Fitness does this with gyms, so why not apply the concept to golf ranges? Matt, you may be onto something!

  12. The problem with driving ranges is the same with city carparks. They require so much space that you can get better value for money developing apartments or houses onto. So there're a few sustainable options like finding land that can't have dwellings on it that's cheap or hit into simulators for each bay or go in between and use toptracer and have a wall/net 100 yards out only. That way you don't need a 400 yard by 1 mile piece of land to hit into.

  13. The access card is a terrible idea. Unfortunately, you cannot give people access to your business if you don’t have anyone else working at the time. Assholes will rob you blind. Sad but true 😢

  14. 24/7 range without an employee to keep people in check might get ugly. Lots of drunk people are going to be there.

  15. Why are you guys giving all of your great ideas to the public before you do it???

  16. Westridge in Mckinney driving range is a cool idea also. Targets all over the range, gives beginners something to aim at

  17. Need it in Frisco tx!!! Let’s go been wishing for a 24/7 range here forever! Especially in Frisco the range will stay packed! Morning or night 😂

  18. You should let Steve be in charge of the good good range. He’s really good at building golf attractions
