Years ago I watched a small guy on a local team here in the UK break his arm during a Football game (American, not that soccer rubbish). He had it set and strapped, and came back n the field and played the rest of the game.

If it makes y’all feel any better about your middle school football experiences, I once scored for the wrong team in middle school basketball, it was right after halftime the other team put up a quick shot I got the rebound and instinctively put it back up and scored 😢
