After a four-year gap, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the DP World Tour returns to Gurugram, southwest of New Delhi for the Hero Indian Open. All eyes will be on home hopeful Shiv Chawrasia whose extraordinary record at the event has seen him win twice and card two runner-up finishes in his past six outings. The last Indian Open, held in 2019 saw Stephen Gallacher shoot two impressive 5-under par 67’s in rounds 1 and 3 to finish one shot clear of the field – the Scot’s first victory on the tour in five years. He will be returning to make a his much-anticipated defence at this year’s event. Two-time DP World Tour winner Robert McIntyre will be making his Hero Indian Open debut, as will Nicolai Højgaard who comes into the event in good form, achieving a T5 finish at last week’s Thailand Classic. After six wins on the TATA Steel Professional Golf Tour of India in 2022, India’s Manu Gandas will be hoping to delight the home fans with a good finish come Sunday.

  1. @ 1:00 when you see the divot flying right at the target first, that is sometimes the sign of a really good shot!

  2. You can tell this isn't the PGA since they would never show a bogey, let alone 2 in a row to start.
