POUND for POUND the BEST Driver of 2023!

This driver from Wilson will worry the Big Brands if people actually went out to test it. But for one big reason people won’t. Watch as Lee Whittaker tests and reviews the new Wilson Dynapwr Driver

  1. I didn't know they had a new driver out but will definitely go and try it now. Was looking at a new driver in the bag and have been put off by the prices for what will be little gain on the course. How adjustable are the drivers?

  2. Are use the Wilson ball don’t see any reason why I would not use the driver ,
If it compares to my Callaway rogue ST 💥🏌🏻‍♂️

  3. Great review. I love the Wilson golf brand and would not hesitate having that driver in the bag. I have purchased the Wilson Staff CB irons last year which, considering I don't have a handicap yet, were the nicest to hit of all the other irons I tried. They are a great brand at a fraction of the price of the big 4. I am looking to get a new driver and when finances allow, this be what I will be purchasing.

  4. Great watch Lee the Driver looks and sounds the business and £200 pounds safe in the wallet It's a thumbs up for me

  5. You are right about the brand. People will instantly dismiss it because it isn't a TM, Callaway, Titleist, Ping etc rather than hitting it and going off performance.
I do think if they put 'Wilson Staff' or 'Wilson Staff Model' on the bottom though it would turn more heads. It's got a Wilson Staff logo on the bottom after all.

  6. As always a good review Lee. Would like to see it in your bag to show your not afraid to have Wilson driver on display. Quick question lessons on how to hit a driver or buy a new driver? For me lessons as a new driver can't improve your game if your technique is all wrong.

  7. I’ve alway’s gamed Wilson absolutely quality clubs, I currently play the D9 range and love them, this looks unreal can’t wait to try it 🏌🏻‍♂️

  8. Good review Lee. Ego's shouldn't get in the way of a brand that has most major wins under its belt.

  9. Struggling with the cost of this and why its claimed a £200 saving? If we take the carbon model it’s only £30 cheaper than the new cobra and £70 cheaper than the new ping max. I think Wilson have priced these WAY to high if they want to break into the uk market, not sure many people will take a “gamble” on this at the price and how many places even stock them for a fitting?

  10. £399 for a Wilson is far too much. For the same reason I wouldn't pay £100 for a pair of Dunlop golf shoes, even if they were the best golf shoes ever made.

  11. havemot seen you this exited about a club for a long time realy looking forward to you testing it up against the ping 430 greta review but uo are 100 % right just has no shelf appeal

  12. Wilson Staff irons are fantastic. If they brought back the red/black logo, i’d buy again. This driver is tempting

  13. I don't have a Wilson driver, I bought the Callaway last year. If I was in the market, I would totally check this out. I already play the D9 irons and am strongly considering the Dynapower 5 and 7 woods this spring!

  14. I think it’s one of the better looking drivers this year. Great review and hopefully more people will give them a go ! Curious which shaft was you testing with?

  15. Deff going to give this driver a try — I've always rooted for Wilson and they seem to be returning to making quality clubs this year — Milled 8802 putters etc etc — thx Lee!

  16. The big issue is that while this driver is cheaper than the big 4 it is not the best deal for the market's medium-sized players. I checked PXGs website and at least in the US, I can get a brand new 0311 driver for $299. When I pop over to Wilson's website this driver is $499 for the carbon which is the same price as the Mizuno driver. So if I was a price-sensitive golfer, why try a Wilson driver when I can get a fairly well-tested and well-received Mizuno driver for the same price, or if I am really sensitive a pxg driver for $200 less? I don't doubt it's a good driver, but in my opinion, they haven't really done anything to convince people it's worth a try especially if price point is their big draw.

  17. Get it in the bag! Lee Whittaker hitting the driver consistently straight is a scary prospect… Looks like i need to try it as none of the others match up to my gamer TSI3 this year (aside from the TSR3 in the same settings).

  18. If you’re of a “certain” age like me then Wilson is the coolest name in golf ⛳️
Nice review Lee, still not as cool as a persimmon driver though 😝🤷‍♂️😂

  19. I love my Wilson irons – D9 Forged – and would've seriously considered the Dynapwr driver if it had been released a few months earlier (I ordered a TSR2 in October). The price alone is amazing, but the reviews have been brilliant as well.

  20. Lee, that was a solid review. Personally I am a big fan of Wilson clubs, and I am glad to see the Dyna Power name being used again. I have my Wilson Staff persimmon woods (1,3,4) put away for safe keeping and my Staff Fg17 Tour Blades too.
That new driver is certainly worth a look and the price is attractive.

  21. I had a contract with Wilson in the early 70’s and they were considered one of the best club makers at that time. They were for me as good as you could get.

  22. i would play it if i tried it against all the other brands and was roughly the same but saved 200 quid. i want to shoot lower scores for the least amount of money.

  23. disagree, i'd happily pay for a Wilson to get the pleasure of out driving my mates with Taylor-made etc with it, it would double my reward

  24. Will it sell🤷‍♂️ the irons are good and sell a few but can't see many buying this driver tbh

  25. Good review Lee, only better you are getting with the reviews. I can tell you like this side of it much more than Dan.
Issue for me in Ireland is local golf shops won't have this Wilson to test.
Can you tell me what it compares to most at address….does it sit like a ping or Callaway?

  26. Absolutely great review. I'm buying the carbon version in 9 degrees. Best driver on the market for sure

  27. Good review Lee 👍sounds like you need to put a G430 Max vs Wilson video out soon! Winner goes in the bag for 2023? Would help me out as I have a G410 and looking to switch to G430, not so sure now!

  28. Maybe you mentioned it and I didn’t catch it but are you putting this in your bag?

Also, love the format of your club reviews with the course testing and then getting numbers on the monitor! Great job!

  29. Great video, I love driver reviews but I just find it hard to take the prices seriously when you know a PXG 0211 is available for £199 with an adjustable loft sleeve and range of fitting options.

  30. Can you divulge shaft and loft you were gaming in both perhaps I missed it. I went Stz 2021 and loved it. Brand is fast becoming a myth because if it performs the reviews are out there fast enough

  31. Who wants a driver sounding tinny ? Tinny is manufacturing of cheap components . Wilson has know chance in golf . There ships have sailed.

  32. I play an almost entire WS bag irons wedges and fairway woods.
But the drivers always lacked. But seeing the good reviews this dynapower has been getting I may look into dropping one in the bag.

  33. Great video mate and love content from the minor brands I game the d9 irons very forgiving and at least 200 to 300 dollars cheaper than the big brands will be definitely testing this one

  34. I’m watching this after trying it at the range today … I was having a final head to head with cobra against ping lst …. Decided on cobra then was given this in the carbon to try … was blown away tbh I’m bagging the demo to try on course Sunday .. can’t wait !
