In the latest Fire Drill podcast: Alan Shipnuck, Ryan French, and Michael Bamberger watch the final stretch of the Waste Management Phoenix Open together and discuss the tournament’s place in the game. They hail the new #1, Scottie Scheffler, and share their opinions on whether or not Tiger Woods makes the cut at this week’s Genesis Invitational. They also speculate on the conversations between LIV and PGA Tour players at the Champions Dinner at the Masters in April.

fowler,thomas,rahm,koepka-pre liv, etc- field is always strong -just look at the monday q players
Great pod. For myself, would rather no cut, i want to see my players play, which is one thing LIV does. For example, i want to watch Bryson, love him or hate him he is awesome to watch.
I am an avid follower to this podcast. As an international viewer, I feel most of the time these programs are directed to a US market only, even tough you are in a global media source as YouTube.
There is a big market that the PGA tour has not tapped that LIV golf will be present in the coming years. The LIV events in Thailand , Australia, Mexico, London, Singapore, Spain, etc. are catering to an audience that the US based tour has no interest at the moment. I live in Mexico and have been to several Pga tour events in the USA and have traveled all over the USA and believe me, I would rather attend a LIV event an exotic destination with an International field, than tournaments in Minnesota, the Carolinas, Illinois, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Connecticut, etc…
Because all these lesser PGA events will lack the few International players that we the International audience like to follow. Just offering more world ranking points is not enough, the demographic of these events is important, and they don't have it.
It would be nice If you guys touched on this subject in the future. I plan to attend the event in Cancun in Feb.
