  1. Hey there guys, great show…WE SO SO SO need a DO IT ALL Tight End…A Gates, Winslow, Henry…Justin needs that weapon…HAVE A GREAT WEEK, GOD BLESS, AND GO BOLTS..!!!

  2. If the chargers go edge 1st rd it needs to be Nolan smith or BJ Ojulari and then do WR rd 2 I have no problem with it.

  3. Musgrave is such a Kellen Moore and Herbert kinda guy. Pacific Northwest fishing fanatic and fits Moore's offense perfectly.

  4. You guys are soooo severely underrating the need at WR.

    1. Mike Williams turns 29 before the start of this upcoming season. He is the textbook definition of injury-prone. There is 0 certainty that he can last a full season, and 3-4 playoff games.

    2. Keenan turns 31 on draft day and his age is starting to show. I don’t think that injury was a random fluke, I think you need to play it safe, conservative, in thinking a muscle injury like that at his age is very likely to reoccur. Keenan’s past his prime, and won’t be a TRUE WR1 for much longer. If and when Mike goes down, opposing defenses just double-team Keenan and who do we have to beat defenses with after that? Guyton? Carter? Lol.

This team will need its next WR1 after this current season, but most likely in the middle of it if and when one of these 2 dudes get injured and miss significant time. We didn’t need a WR in the 2017 draft when we selected Mike Williams at 7… yet we drafted him, and he was a jump-ball specialist not a true WR1. This receiving core needs its next #1 for Herbert’s next 10 years. Time’s ticking, let’s be proactive and take care of the issue before it becomes one. Receiver in round 1 let’s go.

  5. If this team still has KA next year, addingJosh Downs or Tank Dell!would give this offense size, speed, and guys who can attack every level. Not gonna lie though, if they could some how get Kincaid in round 1 and Josh Downs in round 2, this offense should have it all!you could literally use the rest of your picks on defense or OL depth and be absolutely good. To have Mack, Bosa and DJ and the CB’s and a few of the DT’s they currently have, all they need is solid guys who play their role and do their jobs at other positions. With that offense above, it hey would be able to score with anybody. If you get out and get a lead, you go and let those edges pin their ears back, and the secondary showed they can cover with a pass rush. They don’t need a shut down defense. They just need a few stars surrounded by good players who can keep a lead, by rushing and covering.

  6. Brian Branch is a Safety that coild basically play CB cuz of how good he covers. But I could totally see Staley wanting him round 1 cuz he what he could do pairing him with DJ and how much better it makes them against run i in second level of defense, in coverage and turnover potential. Not to mention he could move DJ or Branch anywhere. I think they need a TE in round 1 more because of the difference after Kincaid and Mayer, but I would have a hard time being mad at having Brain Branch and DJ for next 5 years.

  7. I've been a fan since 94-95 the end of the Humphries era i just want a team that can make a deep playoff run in the future… needs: #1 speedy WR or speedy edge rusher. but keep in mind the Chargers are Masters at the undrafted players ie. Gates=Hall of Fame so draft aint everything

  8. Jalin Hyatt at 21 needs to be the pick …. Should have taken Christian Watson last year — hopefully we don’t make same mistake

  9. Hey Dan — can you name 10 receivers that are over 6’ tall that will run sub 4.3 with good hands—- cause there is only 1 of those

  10. Tyron Johnson, you may remember him as a speed receiver but he was more than that. With Herbert, he caught 77% of the balls thrown his way, 20 of 26. 20 yds/reception, 15 of the 20 receptions were for 1st downs, and 3 were for TD's. It was magic, it was exciting to watch him and Guyton catch bombs from Herbert. T Billy was an undrafted free agent. The run D sucks, they need the best D lineman available in the 1st round.

  11. would like to see Edge or top speed WR at 21 but every time I think about Kellen Moore's preference in TE's I picture Michael Mayer

  12. If Bijan Robinson is there at 21, we draft him period end of story. I disagree with Dan when he questions just how much a running game would help Justin. It would be a tremendous help to him if he had even a respectable running game and we haven’t had that for quite some time. The way to open up the pass is by running the ball not by passing.

  13. No matter what round they draft a WR, I just hope it’s a proven WR that has 1,000 yd season under his belt VS a project WR similar to Josh Palmer who never had 500yds in a season in college

  14. Expecting Charger’s to keep Parham Charger’s need a TE that can block number one and recieve number two.

  15. A speedy down field wide receiver and a quick twitch receiver can be found outside of the first 2 picks.

  16. When it comes to WR you need to break up the skill set from deep catch capability vs yards after catch ability. You may have to pick up two different receivers.

  17. Sean brings up a great point!
    WR needs:
Deep threat options based on last season numbers:
Jaylin Hyatt 14 deep catches for 677 yards
Marvin Mimms 13 catches for 602 yards
Rasher Rice 18 deep catches for 566 yards
Trey Palmer 12 deep catches for 507 yards
Charlie Jones 12 deep catches for 438 yds
Jonathan Minho 10 deep catches for 416 yds
AT Perry 10 deep catches for 373 yards
Nathaniel Dell 12 deep catches for 366 yards
Andrew Losivos 10 deep catches for 343 yds
Jayden Reed 11 deep catches for 283 yards
Josh downs 11 deep catches for 284 yards
Ronnie bell 8 deep catches for 284 yards
Jaylen Crooper 6 deep catches for 276 yards
Tyler Scott 6 deep catches for 268 yards
Xavier Hutchinson 9 deep catches for 234 y

Based on other stats such as average depth of target Marvin Mimms 17.0 Hyatt 14.1 Contested catch rate percentage Hyatt at 60% and Mimms at 54.5 Drop rates Hyatt at 6.9 and Mimms at 6.9 I’m taking Mimms with a later pick over Hyatt a earlier pick.

  18. TE:
    1 Myers
    2 Washington
    3 Kincaid
A first round tight end needs to be a solid blocker! In receiving Washington’s runs after catch is 7.2 and Kincaid's is 5.2
Washington‘a average depth of target is 10.8 and Kincaid’s is 8.7

  19. 2 receivers and a tight end is good!
    1 deep threat receiver
1 twitched up quick and too stop and start speed receiver
1 well rounded tight end that can block better than catch but can also catch!

  20. Off-season vs Actual game time.
Lack of power RB to move the Chains.
    Lack of WR with Speed.
    Lack OL Depth.
    Lack of TE Run Block.
    Defense LBs, DTs, Safety.
If we have RB. Bijan Robinson vs Jacksonville Jaguars we Win
because we move the Chains and run out the clock ⏰……
And then a WR with Speed Hyatt…
