NBA Commissioner Adam Silver sits down with Bob Myers | Lead by Example

A friend once called Adam Silver “the most introverted person in an extroverted position.” He sits down with Bob Myers to discuss where he found his voice and how he found his way to the NBA. Silver discusses the impact of his father and the influence of his predecessor David Stern, who even taught him how to pack a suitcase. He tells Bob about the toughest parts of his job and details the legacy he wants to leave for his daughters.

  1. Bob has great guests but just needs to understand time and place to interject the people he is interviewing. It comes with time and practice but that is for sure an area he should work on for future interviews. Outside of that, keep up the solid work!

  2. Adam Silver, I love basketball but you should be embarrassed how awful the NBA regular season is today, from players sitting out, demanding trades, and not playing defense. Please stand up for the fans..

  3. Adam silver is a push over. He lets the players do basically whatever they want David Stern as the commissioner was way better, because he had structure in the league and made players honor their contract.

  5. Make the season 72 get the all star weekend on the 33rd game then after the break at game 52 have the play-in tournament teams 7-10 then whoever gets the 7-8 seed their season continues the 9-10 seed don’t so we aren’t wasting time for bad teams and boring games the last 16 games of the season before the playoffs and it gives teams incentives to go hard the regular season to get that extra week or so for rest then once the best 16 teams are left have them play each other for new seedings 1-16 no conference just the best 16 teams and they play the last 16 games for new playoff seeding then start the playoffs first round best of 3 second round best of 5 then the rest of the playoffs are best of 7 it’s a win win for the fans and the players since they need more rest give them an incentive to play games but also give them more rest if they do

  6. Always been a fan, his handling of covid was better than any government. Would love to work for this guy.

  7. What a great interview. The more I watch these from Bob, the less convinced I am that he’s going back to the warriors next season. He’s too talented outside of basketball.

  8. Adam Silver doesn't care about the game, just cares about the bottom dollar…hasn't even fixed tanking yet either.
