The 144th Open champion Zach Johnson amazed the fans on his road to winning the Claret Jug in 2015.
The American joined a small group of past champions to have won the Claret Jug at The Open’s home – St Andrews.
Johnson overcame world-class competition on course to his maiden Open victory, beating former champion Louis Oosthuizen and Marc Leishman in a tense four-hole playoff.
Since making his Open debut in 2004 at Royal Troon, Johnson has played a part in 16 tournaments. And during that time, he has produced some magical moments that have helped cement his legacy as a fan favourite.
