Henrik Stenson made Open Championship history in 2016, winning the Claret Jug with a record score.

The 145th Open was held at Royal Troon, where fans in attendance witnessed Stenson win his maiden major golf title.

An incredible bonus achievement was in the manner in which the Swede claimed victory, shooting 63 in the final round to win the tournament with a score of -20.

  1. Henrik Stenson recorded the lowest final score (after 72 holes) at The Open in 2016 – scoring 264. Will this record ever be broken? If so, who’ll break it?

  2. Records are there to be broken. Not sure who would break it though.
