  1. Hi Todd, Peter here from Argentina. Have been following you now for slightly over 1 year, and my progress has been quite something: at the start of 2022 I was a 22 hcp, and this weekend I officially become a 10 hcp !!! Your tips on how to improve simply have paid off, specially with my driver: I went from uncontrolled slices to beatiful draws or straight down the middle of the fairway, 280-290 yds at my age of 57. As I don´t play with a golf glove, am unable to use this last tip, however I think I have managed to make a good takeaway. Am a strong believer in the second tip: a specific routine and never stand for ever over the golf ball !!! Thanks for all the tips and lessons, I hope to make single digit golf by the en of my summer here.

  2. Todd, Im stymied. I got my handicap down to an 11 with your help. I was ecstatic. All of a sudden I have developed the yips off the tee with driver and cannot consistently make a good swing. My handicap has creeped up to 17, and I am to the point I don't even want to play. In fact I skipped today and its 72 degrees in Phoenix. I should be playing. Is it possible to play too much. I literally play 5 days a week. Maybe I need to rest up a bit. Creeping up on my 75th birthday. Would love some feedback. Thanks. Keith

  3. Thanks for the tip. I have struggled with rolling the club face open on the take away, this will help!

  4. One of my favorite videos. Great tips. I have changed my set up routine. When I watch your videos and then refer back to my copy of The Bad Lie, for more detail. Recommend the book to all who follow Todd.
Another point I have been using the Lag Shot 7 iron for training. I will hit balls following Todd's videos first with the lag shot and then with my 7 iron.

  5. Just started reading “The Bad Lie”. Have been watching your videos for a few weeks now and have begun using the vertical swing. Still working on things, but have become a more consistent ball striker and have found a swing that is easy to replicate and easy on the body. I will be celebrating my 60th birthday this year and am looking forward to having a great golf season!!!

  6. You nailed my worst habit! Over thinking over the ball. This pre-shot routine is going to be my new tool in the tool box. I'm half way through the Bad Lie and lovinr it. I highly encourage anyone reading this who is, or is becoming an "experienced golfer", to buy it. You'll never spend money wiser.

  7. Hey Todd. Great channel! I just went and played 18 and was running into an issue I don’t normally have where I was pushing all of my iron shots out to the right. Contact was great but they started on the wrong line. Any drills or something I can do to fix that? Thank you for all you do!

  8. Thank you for 3 valuable tips.
I am 1/3 of the way through your excellent book The Bad Lie.
    You recommend the overlap grip.
I have played golf for 30 years using the interlocking grip getting my handicap down to 20. I like the interlocking
grip but IF TODD THINKS I SHOULD CHANGE I WILL MAKE THE EFFORT.
Would you advise me to change to the overlap grip ?
I am 79 years old & want to have a swing that is suitable for a senior golfer.
Following your clear guidance I have altered my takeaway so that I now have the longer, comfortable vertical line swing.
I know it will take time to get used to Todd's new swing but I already noticed several benefits.
I am making notes of the vital parts as I need to study the words & adjust my swing.
Unfortunately my first golf professional was more interested in making money & NOT conscientious.
Todd & some other teaching professionals have earned MY TRUST.
I recommend the book The Bad Lie but you need to practice to get the full benefits.
Renewed thanks to Todd & his team.
