  1. I think Evan has a point but baseball benefits from it’s regular season not having to compete with the nfl. Baseball regular season will always have more relevancy than the nhl or nba bc their games are basically standalone especially in the summer and early fall.

  2. This is a devastating loss. Tim and Ralph Kiner were very good together on Channel 9. Then Tim did all 3 major networks back then. A true legend.

  3. I loved Tim McCarver. When he came to the Mets booth in 1983 they were a terrible team and he was like a breath of fresh air telling it like it was. He was as disgusted as us fans watching the team we had at that time. But we turned the corner and were winning again within a few years. I grew up with the great Lindsay Nelson, Bob Murphy, and Ralph Kiner. They did both Radio and TV back when I was growing up.

  4. Jets fans do not want Matt Ryan and we do not want Zach Wilson.
Seems strange that Sal keeps talking about his idol Matt Ryan going to the Jets,
he has been doing that for several months.
A few months ago Sal was telling Jets fans that we need to be more patient with
Zach Wilson. No we don't and no we won't.

  5. Duh bc the MLB owners turned the league into a joke. You’re playing 162 freaking games and then letting all those teams into the playoffs and pushing for even more teams to make it?

  6. Sal, the loudmouth who said the national league east is over when Mets lead Braves by 10 1/2 games how did that turn out Sal lol😂

  7. Sal has a great voice and awesome energy! I imagine if Adam Sandler did sports talk radio, this would be close to that performance.

  8. Scherzer did have maintenance days. He was on the injured list two times. Can’t confirm but i suspect they were maintenance days.
