Tiger Woods shoots 4-under 67 | Round 3 | Genesis | 2023



In the third round of The Genesis Invitational 2023, Tiger Woods carded a 4-under 67 to climb up to T26 on the leaderboard at 3-under after 54 holes.

Tiger Woods will be make his first official start since The 150th Open last summer at St. Andrews and first non-major TOUR start since the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP in October 2020. The 82-time winner on the PGA TOUR will be joined by all of the top 30 players in the FedExCup standings, as well as 23 of the top 25 players in the world. These include No. 1 Scottie Scheffler who returned to the top of the Official World Golf Ranking after winning by two shots at last week’s WM Phoenix Open and Rory McIlroy, who finished T10 at last year’s event. Local favorite and 2021 winner Max Homa is in action once again, as is two-time winner of the event Adam Scott. Viktor Hovland will head to Riviera full of confidence, having finished inside the top 5 his last two outings. Similarly, John Ram will be hoping to continue his exceptional run of form that has seen him win twice already on the PGA TOUR in 2023 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express.

    I don't remember him hitting that many cut shots. I think all but one shot I just saw were fades. I absolutely love watching this incredible man dance on the golf course.

    a double eagle on a par 4 is impossible as a eagle is a 2 under that means double eagle means 4 shots so that means a 1 or ace on a par 5. its an albatross is 3 under the par

    Tiger complains about the LIV-tour guys, but honestly. He wouldn't even have made the cut if they were in the field. Love to see him play (and I do see him scoring way better than this with average puttings) Still, stop complaining Tiger. Those guys made you a huge favor moving to the LIV tour. (I just realized why he complain. He doesn't want them in the field for this very reason.) Okay Tiger, fair enough. Keep on whining then.

    I think most people were doubtful that he would even make the cut. Granted he barely made it, but to put on this performance on Saturday is much more surprising then making the cut.

    Why does he still play golf? I ask the new gen why they dont give it all like TW still does?! Lot of cash in golf today has made them soft. Lot of respect for TW for his grit, perseverance.

    This warms my heart. He’s made his mistakes as we all have – difference is the world wasn’t watching as I made/make mine.
    Great to see him playing again – and yes, he looked a bit sore at times, but it’s Tiger hitting golf balls and I’m excited. All the best big fella!

    I'm really glad Tigers doing good I would love to see him win anything this year I think with everything hes been through 95% of the players would have given up this guy's got just too much drive and desire to keep going please win something this your buddy we're all rooting for you.. And did you see what happened to the greatest player of all time Jordan speeds he missed another cut can you believe it yes probably missed more cuts in the last year and a 1/2 then hes made this kid is totally gone he needs to get off the tour and give some young up-and-coming kid a chance to perform because he can't even compete with the women anymore he is horrible I think you tied for like 93rd or something this week Give it up buddy you're Finished..

    It is good to see his gait and subsequent mobility has improved. Probably means less pain. A lot of work to get to where he is now. Go get them Tiger!
