  1. I recently bought custom made Sub 70 799 which is a competitive super game improvement iron, but at US$90 an iron substantially less money. Plus, they include head covers, free delivery (in the States anyway), a Sub 70 cap and bag of tees. I am very pleased with them and am getting more height, and decent angle, so I am holding greens better. Sub 70 is a direct-to-consumer company with twelve different heads from pure blades to hybrid-irons to choose from, many shaft options and custom build to your specs. Maybe you might review some of their quality clubs – they are located in Hereford in the UK.

  2. Hi, great review! My handicap floats between 12 and 16 throughout the year, but I'm actually considering these! I currently bag 4 hybrids, ie Ping G425 4, 5, 6, and even 7, and love them! I have always struggled with shanks, etc, so I do love the confidence irons like these inspire! I currently use Mizuno MP-20 HMB irons, and T20 wedges! Sure, when hit sweetly, good distance and feel, but unfortunately few and far between, so these may well help me up to 140 yards!!
If I did get these, I'd only get 8, 9, PW, AW, and SW, so have you tried these by any chance?
Tbh, these aren't bad looking irons..
    Cheers
    Andrew
