I'm a 6 handicap and I carry one. Versatile. Great for punching out of the trees as well.
I call mine my wizard stick! So long as I’ve not got water or sand to clear I’ll use it from 80 yards in
I can chip, however as i have space in my bag i bought this when it was launched and have been so impressed with it. Albeit you can still hit fat shots with it but they do not happen too often.
Way the stigma on your golf card it does say what club you used Ive had a chipper in my bag for years and my playing partners soon stop taking the p**s when u get closer than them Im at present usuing a cleveland smart sole chipper cost a lot less then the ping but its just as good or even better
