  1. Great video . My problem is tempo coming in to the ball. I get aggressive coming into the ball. Any tricks on not getting aggressive? Thanks and keep up the great work.

  2. Your tips always simple and helpful. I’m now struggling to hit fairway woods either hit thin it fat. No consistency. Help

  3. Have used the feet together drill for years, the urge to hit it further always overrules and we ultimately go back to swinging out of our shoes and the push, block, fade, slice reappears

  4. I am literally that guy with a wide stance trying to bomb is 300yds plus every time 😂😂 will try this. Thanks

  5. A great drill .I will give it a try.
I have subscribed again & hope I will receive your notifications rather
searching for your tips on YOU Tube.
Did you see my comment about filling in a 2 cm. circle with permanent black marker on the back the golf ball ?
When you strike your drives it leaves a mark on the club face so you check your contact point.
It works even better if you use driver wood impact stickers.
I mentioned it on one of your driver videos.

  6. Going out tomorrow, so I will be looking forward to worming up with this drill and using it on the course. Thank you for such clear coaching tips.

  7. can' t wait to try it out tomorrow AM .. I've been trying a batch of new things to get the driver up to snuff with all the other clubs. Thank you AE

  8. I always flare my left foot and I think that makes my shoulders open to the target and contributes to over the top swing.

  9. Someone told me to try and hit the ball at 7 o'clock instead of 6 (with driver). This made me swing inside-out and instantly fixed my slice! If I feel like I go straight back and through its actually a outside-in loop…

Would this be a good strategy for most slicers?

It's such a simple way to put it, and your body does all the necessary adjustments to get into the correct position without thinking about 100 things.

  10. Hi Alex, I just watched this video earlier today and went to the range and tried with your tips. That worked very well. Thanks.

  11. Have tried your tips of lower tee and looking just over the ball on the ground and it’s working awesome

  12. 5:22 Enjoy your lessons. I am 86 and my woods at times go straight left. Going about 20yards. My swing seems the same as my good shots. Why?

  13. I don't get it! I watched you on this and then went to the range to try it….. felt strange but every ball exactly wherre i intended it to go, i did no wide stance, no feet splayed out and no lift right hip and foot! not as far admitedly but still 200 which isn't bad for a 63 year old newbie

  14. Looks like a fab drill which i can't wait to try with hopefully as much success as you have in the vidio, but what would make this kind of vidio even better would be a shot tracer to see the real effect of your super drills. Cheers Alex 🏌

  15. Love the videos Alex. My issue is, well, I top everything lately, I’m usually a low 90s/ high 80s golfer, last cpl times out(in North East USA)so cold but not that bad for winter; and I’m topping everything from 3w-AW. I can’t figure it out, I’ve had this issue before and worked it out but it’s come back. Please help! 🙏🏻🏌🏻⛳️

  16. Thanks for the video some great tips! Currently stuck with coming too much from the inside with hands dropping too much on the downswing and getting hands stuck behind my body as my hips turn! Can’t seem to fix it! Any advice would be appreciated!

  17. This is going to be a long one apologies in advance 😂

So today I decided to implement this and it worked absolutely brilliantly. I started off with a very slow swing and felt my bad shots but everything was still on play. But having your feet together stops you slamming the power down and makes you play a nice soft driver which was still getting me 220 and it felt pathetic for how soft it was. Near then end of the round I have a lovely swing which was sitting around 260. I also never strained or felt like I was over doing things. Effortless would be best to describe the driving swing. I’ll be sure to try this on a match day. Thanks mate 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  18. Hi Alex. Got to let you know. I'm off 9 atm, have been a year ago. But, driver killing my game. I draw the ball or more recently push or pull it. Often in trouble off the tee. I tried this on the course today and I've got to say it worked for me. About 15-20 yards down on distance but was hitting the fairway. Smoother tempo really helps as you say you'll fall flat on your face if you swing too hard. I'm going to stick with this as it allows me to use driver, when I've had to go down to 7 wood or Hybrid off the tee to keep in play. Thanks so much. Great channels, like the matches you do on Back 9. Cheers, Brian

  19. Good tip, but what’s the point of having a driver in the bag when you can play a hybrid faster and longer than with a sweet driver swing. Does anyone, especially a begginner, need a driver in their bag ?
