NUMBERS DON'T LIE… Callaway Paradym MID HANDICAP SHOCK!?

NUMBERS DON’T LIE… Callaway Paradym MID HANDICAP SHOCK!? When buying new golf clubs the first club that generally comes to mind is the driver. buying a new driver can transform your golf game off the tee by allowing you to hit longer drives, hit more fairways and generally lower your scores… in 2023 we have seen the launch of lots of new drivers including the Ping G430, Taylormade Stealth 2, Cobra Aerojet, Callaway Paradym and lots more… but what is the best mid handicap driver of 2023? in this video we take a look at the new callaway paradym and see if it’s the most forgiving driver of 2023… let’s find out… and let’s do it now!

  1. I’m currently gaming an odd looking club so I don’t say this lightly but the Paradym looks horrible🤮…..blue? with an odd looking thing on the back of the crown looks like it was designed by blind people😂

  2. I’m excited to demo the new Callaway Paradym drivers.Until I got my Epic MaxLS I had always played Titelist Cobra or Taylor Made, but now it’s loos like Callaway has stepped it up

  3. Who has Mark had lesson with? Congrats Mark on your improvement. I hope it has resulted in lower scores. A great fair review of new drivers.

  4. Love seeing Mark and his new swing, which looks great. He is going to be losing his mid handicap status.

  5. Have to agree with the others here – the swing is so much better. Would be hard for me to justify the costs of the Paradym (or any of the new drivers) to get 8 more yards carry and 10 more with roll vs his current driver. What was also eye-opening is the G410 vs the G430 are basically the same end results. If he could pull the spin down with the G410 somehow he'd be just as long with it as any of them. If it was only that easy!

  6. Another driver where all the studio stats are about length, not dispersion (re forgiveness)… surely with a mid-handicapper dispersion is far more important than + or – 10 yards..

  7. Always like your videos but need to be careful looking at stats. In this example Calllaway does look like the lowest spin, but standard deviation figures against Ping G430 means you can’t say definitely that one is lower than the other as they overlap. Issue for me is cost seems ridiculous. It’s more expensive than the annual membership for some clubs, so for the average golfer starting out it’s probably better to buy an older model from a reputable company like GolfClubs4Cash and spend the rest on a membership or season ticket.

  8. James…love your content.
As a high handicap golfer (18.5 index), seeing the stats for Mark is much more useful than yours 😉 Based on the performance chart you showed @9:40, it looks like Mark hit mostly fade/push with the Paradym, but the dispersion was pretty good.

  9. James…..love your content and I especially like it when you spotlight a higher handicap player in these tests / reviews because I can relate more to the outcomes. I currently play with a very old set of Calloways that I bought back in the mid 90’s. I think I might be due for something new and the Paradym is gettting my juices flowing.

  10. Really enjoying this little series of videos, one small suggestion would be to have the foot spray for the face on the on course drives, less pressure on Mark to diagnose his strike then and takes the guesswork out of the comparisons.

  11. This club already looks so dated. Reminds me of some old 80’s ladies driver. In a year or two these will flood the used market and be one of the less expensive driver options…because guys won’t want to be seen with a Ladies driver😂😂😂

  12. I wouldn't mind seeing how Mark's handicap and scores have tracked since you've been working together…
Seems to me like he is building a very nice swing.

  13. Isn’t the HD a draw bias head…I’d like to see the numbers with the standard Stealth not the HD head…to me that’s a better comparison.

I’m gonna hit both but to see these number would be a great comparison to me. 🖖🏾

  14. Great content James, and you do something other channels don't. You actually get a review from a mid handicap player, and not just the PGA pro's. Much more "real world reviews". Well done.

  15. You are sooooo right. So many are asking, "should I change my driver this year?"… or, other clubs in our bags. Usually not the irons, it is mostly the driver, woods and hybrids. Great content James, thank you so much!!

  16. This video is pretty much me right now. Mid handicapper, always gone with Ping and had my trusty driver for years. Been itching to potentially get a new one and have been researching other makes and models which might give me longer hits and are more forgiving. Great video and really helpful for us less gifted golfers! The Callaway just made my shortlist, looks impressive.

  17. He should try the triple diamond and I think he’d like it more and hit it even better 👍🏌️
