  1. Well done alex 🏌‍♂️ 🙂 👍 I turn 50 nxt year should I get my clubs checked to see if they are still right for me mmm 🏌🙂

  2. I can attest that flaring the feet and dropping the right foot back makes it much easier for this senior golfer to turn on the backswing. I highly recommend! Just have to be careful not to drop the right foot back too much. Another great tip Alex!

  3. This "senior" move does nothing but mess up the timing in the swing for people CAUSE most do wayyyy too much of it AND have other issues with upper part of their body to make it even more complex…. shorter swing with good rhythm and great impact gives much much better golf in every aspect of the game…. u guys gotta stop these kinds of problem causing cra* …… love ur videos though…. the REAL videos 😉

  4. I’ve been working on exactly the same thing just recently. I’ve increased ball speed hitting driver by 16mph from 123mph to 139mph. The goal is to reach 150mph by the end of the season.

I’m looking to do the same move through the rest of the bag which so far has been working ok, and I’m seeing 10-15yd carry distance increases with the irons

  5. Another Great video as usual. I have a slightly different request for a video from your usual videos. I am taking my golf clubs abroad for the first time this year in the summer. Have you got any advice on what travel bag to use and any tips/tricks on keeping your golf clubs safe while flying/travelling to another country?

  6. Thanks for the mention Alex.Along with the right foot being slightly behind the left, I also concentrate on ensuring my right hip goes back and around with the left shoulder tilting downward during the turn. That along with monthly lessons from my club Pro (James Scott) has really benefittied my swing and strike. Still need to concentrate on a little more speed in the down swing, but that will come in future lessons.
Once again, thanks for fantastic content.

  7. I’ve subconsciously started dropping the right foot back a little. Definitely makes the turn easier, and also helps with swing path. Great advice.

  8. Great tip Alex but I would ask how would you guide someone who has a total metal knee joint as I do to try and feel more stable on my feet and still try and get some more distance.
By the way I’ve had the joint 16 years and they say they only last 10-15 years lol as it’s my balance I can have issues with

  9. Alex, I will turn 70 in March and I have only been golfing about 1 year. Two years ago I had a right hip replacement. I am a right handed golfer so my left hip is ok to rotate but my left hip not so much. Any pointers to get around this problem? Thank you.

  10. Yep, it’s no fun getting older (almost 60)and watching your son out drive you by 80 yards 🙈I will give this a go and thanks for the tip 👍
