  1. Another good tip Alex. For me personally, I find that if I have a really good shoulder tilt (trail shoulder low), it’s physically impossible to come over the top. I’ve been able to eliminate a slice tee shot. I found that gripping the club with my right hand first sets the shoulders at the proper angle.
Going to be 70, and I started playing golf when I was about 13. Laid off for quite a while, and started up again 10 yrs ago.

  2. Started with a Company trip to California, they played Pebble Beach! I didn't, because I dug ditches with everything and didn't want to get kicked off! Big regret! Can home bought clubs and started playing. That was 35 years ago! Love the game, and having fun. Some good days some not, but all fun. Be safe, be cool! Beach, NC

  3. I'm a bit of a slicer sometimes, I've noticed that when my club contacts the ball the face is open so have started to address this I've also adjusted my driver to a draw setting is this something you would recommend thanx big style

  4. My driver is all over the place. Sometimes draw sometimes slice. A lot of heel striking. Occasionally im bombing it 260-280 and other times im barely over 200. Really appreciate the practice tips n drills!

  5. Hello Alex. I have been playing socially since 2000 Dec. Aged 42. I occasionally join a club but I'm not willing to pay for membership most years. I have to say my swing has improved dramatically since watching your channel. Cheers!

  6. Great tip, Alex. As soon as the snow clears here, I'll be able to go and practice this. I've been playing for 50 years, and I used to hit the ball much better. I guess age does take a little toll on the swing. My ball flight has been a fade. Now, hopefully, I can get back the draw.

  7. sort of like Cars movie, you must hit it right to go left. What you will do is actually hit it square and negate the deadly side spin. Don’t aim and swing straight at the target with driver and woods. Angle slightly away from target. If righty go right of your target line. Try it and thank me for your best drives of your miserable golfing life. Been doing this and crushing it straight and longer than ever . What my teacher told me and i finally get it.

  8. Greetings Alex! Been playing since son gave me his prior set of Mizuno JPX 900 irons, Cleveland sand and gap wedges, Black Rescue hybrids, and now a Calloway Mavrik Max. That was Thanksgiving 2020, just after we moved (just retired) to a golf course subdivision. So I’m giving it a good faith effort. Still trying to figure things out after 3.5 lessons! My son sent me one of your lessons on YouTube right at the start, and I’ve watched them all since. Your description of the arc here and in earlier videos has been very helpful.

  9. Struggling with this Alex..Tell me, if the club face is parallel with your spine on your back swing when the shaft is parallel to the ground….Does the club face need to parallel with your spine in the follow through when the shaft is parallel to the ground? Does this make sense…..

  10. Very nice, 60% is beautiful….what shaft are you lovin, is that the black or blue ventus…do u see a big change in output switching shafts…?
