After two weeks in Hawaii, the PGA TOUR heads back to the mainland this week for The American Express, which once again will be played across three golf courses: La Quinta CC, The Nicklaus Tournament Course and the Stadium Course at PGA West. Ten of the top 20 players in the world will be teeing it up in the Coachella Valley this week, including 2022 Player of the Year and current World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler, alongside 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions winner Jon Rahm, who won The American Express in 2018, finishing two shots clear of second-place Collin Morikawa. Xander Schauffele is expected to make a welcome return to action after withdrawing from the Sentry Tournament of Champions, playing just eight holes of his second round due to a back injury. Other notable names to look out for include 2021 tournament winner Si Woo Kim, who is playing after a superb victory at the Sony Open in Hawaii last week and World No. 5 Patrick Cantlay, who has finished inside the top 10 in his last two appearances at The American Express, including a runner-up finish in 2021.

  1. That last bit where Rahm was asking the crowd to quiet down for Davis…swear he looked a bit like Sly

  2. 9 minutes of "highlights" and Xander's albatross didn't make the cut? Ridiculous. Be better PGA Tour youtube.

  3. Just don't leave the pin in. Why do some players still leave the pin in? It has already been proved that taking the pin out has a higher chance of making the putt

  4. God these announcers are terrible. How many times can they pre-announce what is about to happen? “We told you this guy made an albatross, here it is!” “You heard that huge roar in the background!” Thanks for taking any semblance of surprise out of it

  5. Gutted for Thompson hitting the stick on that putt, great showing from him. Respect to Rahm for trying to keep the crowd down for Thompson too.

  6. Some feedback for the highlights. Can we please not have a picture of the winner as the thumbnail of the round 4 highlights? Often I’ve not caught the last few hours and it’s a shame to ruin the surprise before I’ve watched the video.

  7. When is traditional media going to understand? Zooming in on the ball while in flight is the dumbest shot of all time. Hey… I know what a golf ball looks like, I want to see a professional shot shape cause I'm not there. It's bad information and never tracks as cool. Study harder.

  8. Dear PGA YouTube,
Just remove the commentators from the clips. They don't give any information about the shot they are covering. It's confusing to watch these clips. I don't know who's hitting the ball, what hole they're on, what shot is it on the hole… Use some graphics, spend at least 3 seconds on some information on each highlight. Please.
    Thanks,
    Tom

  9. These announcers are so anti LIV it’s ridiculous. Keep your personal thoughts to yourself. You kiss Jon Rahm and Rory so much it makes everyone sick. They are foreigners that a rude jerks and shouldn’t be allowed to play in America. If you love them so much take them with you to anywhere but the good ok U S.

  10. Imo Jon Rahm's been the best golfer on earth the last 3 years, even when Scottie and Rory went on a tear I still thought when all 3 are at their best no one's beating Jon. Just seems to have something the other 2 don't.

  11. Was really pulling for Thompson last night. Got some really unlucky breaks on 17 and 18, really impressive though.
