After two weeks in Hawaii, the PGA TOUR heads back to the mainland this week for The American Express, which once again will be played across three golf courses: La Quinta CC, The Nicklaus Tournament Course and the Stadium Course at PGA West. Ten of the top 20 players in the world will be teeing it up in the Coachella Valley this week, including 2022 Player of the Year and current World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler, alongside 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions winner Jon Rahm, who won The American Express in 2018, finishing two shots clear of second-place Collin Morikawa. Xander Schauffele is expected to make a welcome return to action after withdrawing from the Sentry Tournament of Champions, playing just eight holes of his second round due to a back injury. Other notable names to look out for include 2021 tournament winner Si Woo Kim, who is playing after a superb victory at the Sony Open in Hawaii last week and World No. 5 Patrick Cantlay, who has finished inside the top 10 in his last two appearances at The American Express, including a runner-up finish in 2021.

  1. A guy goes 8 under on the front and not one shot of his is shown….. good job pga

  2. No rory again! The we need to respect the PGA Tour man, bloke can not be bothered

  3. Is nobody going to talk about how Finau absolutely drained that put with the toe of his putter?

  4. A lot of low rounds out there so why use long bogey putts in the highlights lol? Hopefully they make a Thompson only highlight video

  5. Don't think the course is much of a challenge for these players. Nearly every approach shot was played with a wedge. PGA doing their upmost to try and entertain, since the LIV tour started.
