  1. super excited to see the review of the woods for this year from srixon. I think they have most potential from everything i have seen

  2. Loved playing the ZX5/ZX7 combo and nice to hear that they continue to positively. The ZX7 was my first entry into smaller players irons. I would encourage anyone looking to move into a more "players" iron shape to consider the ZX7 as they do not really look as scary as some of the other smaller irons. Some players think the topline is too wide (compared to blades) but I found them to be a great first move into better player irons and certainly not intimidating – almost like having training wheels as my game moved into the single digits. Also can't understate how good they feel on strike and that feedback has been essential to my improvement. Hard to beat that Japanese steel…

  3. I have last year's ZX5's and the sole width is way too wide for me to hit. I tend to sweep my irons and the bounce causes a lot of fat shots. My AoA is usually in the -2.5 range.
My question to you is how much thinner is the ZX5 mkii sole width compared to the previous model?
I had a set of the 945's and I'm sorry I sold them. Great set of irons.

  4. I feel like we can’t learn anything from these videos. You guys are way too damn good.

  5. Been waiting for this review 🎉
    Would
Love to see the zx5 mk2 vs the Cobra Forged Tec and Mizuno 225 please.

  6. Looks like some fantastic clubs. I’ve got last years ZX7’s and love them. If you’re on the fence about Srixon irons, they’re definitely worth a few hits on the range!

  7. Ian fit me into 585s a few years back. They’re awesome, underrated, and something diff in the bag than all your pals playing titleist and TM

  8. I have the previous ZX7's and they are the BEST club I have hit ever! great feel, great look and just a great overall club!

  9. Is there an amount of offset on an iron where you would no longer consider it as a candidate to be lofted up or down?

  10. Very new to Srixon and looking to upgrade from my JPX 800 forged.

Do i go all out and head for the Mach 2s or a set of the first ZX7s? Pricing diff is noted.

All you Srixon seniors’ advice is much appreciated 🤜🏾🤛🏾

  11. Didn't Terry Koehler invent the v sole that Srixon uses for the Ben Hogan irons and TK wedges, and the sole is on the edison wedges now.

  12. Did they discontinue the 900 series? Several years ago my son was playing Z945, at least I think that was the name, which I played a few rounds and strongly considered a set of my own. While I ultimately chose Muira’s , I really liked those Srixon’s. Much better than the various big brands like Apex’s, 716 CB and even the Mizuno’s despite my gamers at that time were MP32’s

  13. My ZX5MKII are on their way and will be delivered today 🙂 Really looking forward to them. Fitted with Accra GE IR i Series Shafts (60i) and JumboMax JMX Ultralite Tapered Grips.

  14. Still playing my 745s and they still perform to this day. Great looking iron too. Think these new ones are just a little too busy.

  15. My MK1 ZX7's will be with me until they wear out. Feel, feedback and consistency are amazing. The feel is so addicting. The feedback is so necessary. And the consistency wins the money to help pay for them. 😉

  16. Mark Crossfield will have a field day building a blended set with these bad bois, he’s a srixon player but only has around two of each model in his iron set at a time.

    PW/9i/8i in X7
    7i/6i in X5
    5i/4i in X4

what a set that would be 😍

  17. I have never seen a srixon out on the course, maybe they’re not popular in California and more in Canada?

  18. I've loved Srixon irons for year, but I just watched the King MB/CB/Tour review. And…..oh, my, god. Those are phenomenal.

Curious, though, I am wondering when TXG will review the Srixon prototype balls for 2023?

  19. What would be two other top choices to compare to a ZX5/ZX7? Im assuming some of you texted other similar models before deciding on Srixion.

  20. 44 degree PW? Guys thinking they hit a PW 150 while carrying 2 gap wedges to cover their massive distance gaps is hilarious. That’s a 9 iron 😂
