There's a strong correlation between wrist cock and right arm fold. Traditional swings match arm fold and wrist hinge, modern swings with more right arm extension cock wrists differently. Maybe less consistently.
They are not both 100mph. I fear you are confusing angular momentum [which is the same irrespective of length of radius as it is just the number of degrees rotated through per second] with the distance that the club head travels through on its arc [which is assuredly a function of the length of the radius – all to do with the circumference of an arc being 2 x pi x radius multiplied by the no of degrees in the arc divided by 360].
Notwithstanding that, a very useful practical video.
I watched your previous video on the full movement into and through the ball, hips with conviction. I hit a HOLE IN ONE today trying to do what you advocated. .. You cost me a round of teas from the shed cafe.. Thanks for all you do , I like your tutition and the way it is put together . Simple, concise and understandable. I am OLD and my movement is a bit restricted but I hit a Beauty.. CHEERS..
Is this like the swing encouraged by the GEM?
Isn't the right thumb supposed to be located on the right side of the shaft and if so, how can the right thumb support the club shaft with wrists cocked unless right thumb is located in the middle of the shaft?
