Count Yogi is likely the greatest golfer you’ve never heard of. He was active from the 1930s-1980s and barnstormed the country, winning many matches and giving a trick shot show. Count Yogi could still drive the ball over 300 with persimmons in his 70s. His method is one of the best golf swing for seniors.

What’s interesting to me is that his right heel appears to stay flat on the ground until well past impact, even with a wide stance. It’s like he let the momentum of his upper body pull his lower body around and into the finish, rather than relying on hip rotation for power. A really interesting golf swing for sure; I never get tired of watching it.
After doing a research on all the best swings or at least the vast majority, i came to the conclusion that the best swing mechanics for hitting a golf ball are the ones of Count Yogi and Moe Norman, period. You can watch the pros play and hit golf balls all you want, but if you want to know how a golf ball should be struck, these 2 are the absolut best.
