This Hybrid Is BETTER Than TaylorMade, Titleist, Ping & Callaway!?

This Hybrid Is BETTER Than TaylorMade, Titleist, Ping & Callaway!? When buying a new hybrid we always lean towards the “bigger” golf brands. The Titleist Tsr hybrid, Callaway Rogue St hybrid, Ping G430 Hybird and even the Taylormade Stealth Hybrid.. but what about a smaller brand, budget golf clubs can often work our just as good as more expensive clubs. Int hai vdieo I take a look at the Tour Edge Exotics c722 hybrid. Could this be the best hybrid you’ve never owned? Let’s find out… and let’s do it now!

  1. Hey everyone! I tried my best to save the audio on this video but the 40mins winds have absolutely screwed me over! I hope it doesn’t effect your viewing enjoyment too much! Have a great new year!!!!

  2. Ye old faithful are in my bag. 3, 4, 5 original TM mid rescue give me 150, 140, 130 m reliable every time these days, and have been reliable go to clubs for the last 15 years. They fit into the continuation of the 6 iron at 125 m and the ping G30 3 wood at 160 m. The 3 rescue is great from under the trees for a flat flight. The 5 rescue is great out of the rough or for 'rescue" shots. So for me there would have to be some serious advantages to make me swap out any of the old faithful. I'm hitting shorter distances than you James maybe because I might be 45 years older than you.

  3. Just looked it up and this club is more expensive than my Stealth 6 hybrid. Haven't tried it but that Stealth, tried it on the range this afternoon and man, was going farther than my current 5 iron by about 10 yards. Probably going after the Cobra for the 3 or 2 hybrid as I play hybrids instead of irons or fairways but the 5 will probably be perfect in Stealth too. But honestly, so impressed with the Stealth.

  4. Nice to see you reviewing Tour Edge clubs James and hitting them well! I carry a 5 wood and no hybrids, but the C722 hybrid looks really good and I like that it’s adjustable. Hope to see you do a review on the C722 fairway wood as well.

  5. I love all the reviews on the fairway woods and hybrids, I just wish I could benefit from them. I am stuck (not really stuck because I love them) with my 2015 Adams Tight Lies hybrid, 3 and 7 wood. There is just something about the soles of those that give me the ease of hitting them. The head shape and size, the Kuro Kage shafts. Haven't found a better set up in years.

  6. I use an Cobra F7 Hybrid, it’s adjustable, forgiving and gives different ballflights. It’s an ideal addition to my woods which are a cobra f7 adjustable 5 wood Fw and a adjustable Cobra Radspeed 7 Wood. Both have cranked down lofts to 17 and 20,5.

  7. I actually bought a set from them from LW to 4I and a 3 hybrid for about $700 USD and was able to have it 2 degrees flat and half inch longer for no charge and love them.

  8. I use a callaway hybrids 3/4 and a 3 wood epic. Looking to review in the new year, as I haven’t got better the clubs are not performing as well as I would like.

  9. I use a cobra 2/3 hybrid. I'm a cobra guy for hybrids. But I have taylormade burner xd Ti irons. And cobra wedges

  10. I've got the TE exs 220 3 and 4 hybrid. Bought both as demo clubs under $100! The 3 is my 210 yrd fairway finder. The c722 may be a future upgrade, love the way it looks

  11. My clubs don't match. I started with the Callaway XR 4 hybrid because I can't hit a 3 or 4 iron. I recently bought a used Wilson 5 hybrid because I now can't hit a 5 iron. Both give me confidence for the long shots.

  12. For someone who doesn’t hit long irons past a 5 iron. Would you carry this hybrid vs a driving iron? I hit my 4 hybrid well but it tends to pop up the ball. Hard to keep the ball flight down.

  13. Using a mizuno jpx 900 3 hybrid turned down and a nike covert tour 4 hybrid at standard. Love them both

  14. I look forward to your videos daily and love the channel. I play a Taylormade hybrid from @ 2018 at 22 degrees loft and it never leaves my bag. In summer I replace my 4 iron with a 7 wood, but it has a really high ball flight compared to the hybrid and 4 iron, which is not favorable in the conditions I play in most of the year.

  15. My bag goes from 3 wood to 4 iron and I’m looking for something to fill the gap for the next season 👍.

  16. I’ve found the callaway rogue hybrids with jailbreak technology the easiest to hit. I do play the 425 4 hybrid also which is easy to hit.

  17. Looks so much like the Adams “Tight Lies” and “Idea” series of rescue/hybrid type clubs. They may be 20 or so years old but they worked then…maybe they just weren’t from a sexy manufacturer.

  18. James I hit a hybrid like a hook machine, so I use a 7 fairway wood. In fact I use 2 different 7 woods. One goes low and about 180 -200 and the other goes high and 160-170 so they cover my hybrid yardages. So my irons are hybrid irons, Adams 6-P. Work very well. I was going to buy the Wilson LP but I thought it would be waste of money because that is what I was basically playing already. I might go hit them anyway.

  19. Good video James. Audio was ok for me!

This brand is pretty big in the United States! Especially among the over 50 set.

You see them a lot on the PGA Champions Tour, with a heavy dose of advertisement to boot!

I agree with you that this hybrid looks near perfect for those of us that don’t like large, fairway wood looking hybrids.

If the sound and feel match the looks…it’s a home run for Tour Edge.

Have to add, out here you see a ton of their fairway woods too. Seems the consensus in the US is that their fairways and hybrids are top notch.

  20. Had at least one exotics in my bag for more than 10 years. Only went away from their hybrids for gapping reasons. Still play a 3w and it's as good as clubs 15 years newer. Next time you do a used club video, find an xcg4 or 5 and blow Gary out of the water. Won't need a driver with that beast.
