A pro golfer is a player who plays golf at a high level and is able to make a living from playing the game. Pro golfers do not use handicaps in tournament.

A mid handicapper is a player who has a handicap between 10 and 18. This means that they are able to shoot scores that are between 85 and 95.

A low handicapper is a player who has a handicap of 9 or lower. This means that they are able to shoot scores that are consistently below 85.

Overall, the main difference between these three categories of golfers is their level of ability and consistency in scoring due to knowledge aboutt he lie fo the ball and ability to match a vast array of shots to the specific situations. Pro golfers are the most skilled and are able to shoot the lowest scores, while mid and low handicappers are less consistent.

  1. Great to see ProMo 'loose as a goose' and performing well in a relaxed manner. In this video and the preceding one featuring ProMo, the course being played does not seem to be mentioned. Is there any prohibition on this? If not, could Baus Matt please share the course name in future vids. Thanks.

  2. I resolve to not shat my pants in 2023, hopefully this will be the year I get it done… cheek clenching engaged.

  3. New Years resolution. Put more effort into work. For golf it’s break 80 off the tips.

  4. New year's Resolution is to play more golf and break 90! Hopefully never get anything over a bogey and I will be extremely happy 😁

  5. my NYR is to change some bad habits, create some new good ones, and get my weight back down into a range that I'm comfortable with. Ready for a change!

  6. My new years resolutions is to treat everyone better. Play better golf from green to tee (Matt and Bernie's strategy). Practice more on the goal course and not on the golf range.

  7. Loved this perspective. Super creative. Love all the content but this one was truly for the boyfriends.

  8. I love your videos Matt your so funny and good golfer , my best score is 102 and i am currently 28th in the womens handicap at my club..new year my aim is to get under 100 for the first time . keep making videos please they help me so much and make me laugh to xxx

  9. New year resolution… to not tuck in my shirt

Thanks Matt, discovered you channel probably a month ago, since then and applying your “from the green tactic”, not going for the “pro shot”, in 2 rounds so far I have gone from a 90-95 scorer to a 85 instantly. I had 4 3 puts and 2 bomb outs in last round, so I know a low 80 (I dare say a 80 breaker) is actually within range. All this by just following this simple tweak…

  10. My new years resolution is to kick the tobacco. I've been in the military for 10 years and its where I picked up the bad habit. I'm hoping to finally quit this new years.

  11. My New Year’s resolution is to implement the way of the playa and become a better golfer. This year I took the driver out of my bag and focused on my irons, chipping and putting which has helped me a lot. I have now purchased a 5 wood to use as my new tee club and I hope will help me get into my most comfortable ranges straight off the tee. With that being said I could also used a Waddaplaya head cover to go with my new wood!

  12. My new years resolution is to smile on the golf course

    I am not a professional
    I am an amatuer

So I should remember to enjoy my hobby more not get upset as I expect to play at my best all the time

  13. My resolution this coming year is to get on the course with my dad. He is advancing in age, and I’ve never been on the course with him.

Golf wasn’t a thing growing up in my house, and I just started two years ago. He used to be a 2 handicapper. So I’d love to go before it’s too late.

  14. 13:15 never change the music bruv! Always puts me in a great mood watching these videos and the soundtrack always adds to the show! Youre the man, one of your best hands down. Time to live.

  15. It looks so warm there… I want some warm weather here. I have a golf jones and I need to scratch that itch!🙃

  16. one of the things i love about arccos is that you can benchmark yourself against whatever level you want. i keep mine set at 10 (i am a 14-15 hdcp) so it always gives me realistic expectations. but if i want to see how crappy i really am, i can set it to scratch!

  17. My new year's resolution? To practice more, have more confidence in my game, I know there's a 16 handicapper in there, My handicap has been 19 to 21 for 2 years!

  18. New Year's Resolution: Become a better Greenskeeper, Caddy, Player, Husband, Father, Brother, Son, Friend, Neighbor & Stranger. No particular order.

  19. Resolution for 2023 – as a 90er TO MAKE MORE PARS ! and another one is to play with my son in Thailand and Vietnam.

  20. If you're gonna have Finch Vibes, you should collaborate with Pete in the future. He would be more than happy to do so as soon as Shiels is finished dominating him. 🙂

  21. I have 2 goals for my golf game:

    1. Get a set of 1Iron Golf clubs, I have been playing single length clubs I made for about 10yrs. Time to get the real thing.

    2. Finally break 90 on the same day, I have shot 43 and 44 a number of times in league. Even done it in back to back weeks but never when playing an 18hole round with my buddies.

Thanks Matt for your work in breaking down the Pro Golf Cartel! Their stats are meaningless to the Boyfriends playing a Saturday morning roung who just want to shoot a good score!

  22. Resolution for 2023 is to become as good at golf as Lord Golf Sidekick! I’ll need to focus on taking care of my body in the weight room and with the food I eat, and work on my short game like a baussssss

  23. Resolution for new year is to consistently play low 80s to mid 70s and eliminate 3 putts. Been playing around 88,89 every round but recently have gotten driver consistent and got a new putter that feels just right. Cheers!!

  24. My resolution is to play golf in Thailand or Malaysia. Courses here in China are so expensive! Any recommendations Matt?

  25. Golf Resolution 2023: Single digit handicap.

I started playing regularly 3 years ago and by the end of my first year I was 24 handicap (2-4x a month). The next year I got it down to 18, and right now I have a ~14. I think with practice and regular play I should be able to get <10 next year.
