  1. How SIMPLE?!! Control your grip, control the golf CLUBFACE ✅. I use this exact swing thought all the time now

  2. Thanks Alex. I have a very strong grip, particularly my right hand. Find it easy to chang to neutral until I have to take a swing and it feels wrong, so I always change back. Any ideas or is it no pain no gain

  3. This definitely is a problem for me. This will help with my had position for sure and also grip power

  4. Thanks Alex! Now I just need to get out of winter in NY to get back out and practice this lol

  5. Excellent stuff. Possibly the most challenging part of playing golf to get right because it feels so awkward to hold this way and requires trust that it works.

  6. I would use anything to straighten out my shots, thanks for the tip. If it works for Tom Watson, I am all in!

  7. I wouldn't worry if there was a line on my grip at all. Hell…I'd wear a clown suit if it helped me hit the ball straighter. 🤣

  8. Would have loved to see you hit 3 shots: 1 with thumb on left, 1 with thumb on centerline, and 1 with thumb on right to show the difference in ball flights.
    Great vid, mate.

  9. I started gripping my club like this back in August, I thought it might neutralize both hands from being too dominate, I was right, it worked, and I've never hit my irons, better, longer, and straighter. Listening to other people/teachers is good, but there is nothing better than experimenting for yourself, and once something works very well, don't listen to ANYBODY ever again. Do what works for you!!

  10. I don't understand why my amazing athleticism doesn't allow me to do what I want…. my problem is that my big frigging irish head holds me on my back foot.. if I have it tilted away from the target in my backswing .. completely screws up my balance and ability to move forward after my backswing. But when I remember and tilt it towards the target on my take-a-way .. all is good .. until my grip screws up my impact .. so thanks AE .. good video .. just in the ( St. ) nick of time.

  11. I already do this which is why my long irons go dead left on my misses lol I have to either open my stance, aim right or purposely remember to weaken my grip or hit a fade on longer par 3s say over 150 or I’ll miss left

  12. I'd use the marking on my grip as a guide to align the club face in relation to my palms as I have a neutral hold on the golf club. I have played for over 20years on-and-off having 24hc often hitting the green or fringe in 2 on a par 4 and subsequently fumbling around the green with another 4 strokes to hole it for a double boogie
