With 2023 around the corner its probably the first time I have ever known a manufacturer to stop its leaks spreading around social media!

  1. Tried the Stealth driver, not a fan. Sound the diver head makes on contact “dull thud “ was concerning.

  2. I have the Stealth Plus and the red face is turning white. LOL I can tell that I'm taking off the layers of the carbon.

  3. I tried a friend of mine stealth driver…. I'll stick with my Cobra F9…. If it ain't broken and find the fairway all the time… Why change?
Simon what the most forgiving iron you recommended? also with a bit distance as well..

  4. I always saw leaks as only positive for marketing but I never thought of them killing sales for the currently available model. Makes sense.

  5. I have a Callaway Epic Flash, 60g Stiff Flex shafted driver and hit around 250 yds.

I then tried a Stealth with 70g x stiff shafted driver and started hitting 280-300.

With that I would say the biggest bang for your buck is getting a club set up specifically for you, bot just trying different drivers every year or two to the tune of £400 each time.

If I buy the Stealth I won’t buy another driver for a good 5 years as I can’t see tech being introduced that gets me hitting 40-50 yards further.

  6. Upgrades from Mizuno ST200g to the Stealth +….. literally all numbers improved across the board. Love it

  7. Ya I found it odd that Taylormade’s 2023 driver had not been leaked yet considering this time last year Stealth had. I would like to see Taylormade go to the Titleist cycle and release driver every other year. From what I’ve heard not going to be too much different but maybe more carbon on bottom of club.

  8. Out of the 3 stealths in our group non of them made it through the year. Broken shafts at the hosels and two faces fell off. Absolute junk.

  9. I didn't like the stealths look. I thought it looked cheap. The carbon face was interesting but did not look very good. The shape was good I just thought the colors and typography wasn't. Never hit it so couldn't tell you from performance side.

  10. I am getting excited about ordering my new driver for 2023. No embargo needed, it’s a new persimmon beauty from Louisville Golf in the USA ❤

  11. Can't see much development being able to come to market on the current technology of driver with the industry limits set for them, game old gear for dirt cheap and still hit it just as far, win win

  12. Love my Stealth, but picked up some speed this year and bumped up to an x flex shaft. Still too much spin, so I’m getting almost no rollout. Going to see what the new offering is and either upgrade to the new plus model, or find a 22 plus model if not much has changed (which, I’m kind of hoping for).

  13. See it already, not impressed, more carbon, sliding weight, and a huge weight in the rear. Red and black color remains. Shape hasn't changed.

  14. No but I did hit the plus… added 20 yds but no fairways 🤷‍♂️ I'll stick with my TM Superfast 2.0 🤦‍♂️

  15. Have not hit a Stealth yet, have used TM equipment since the mid 1980s but switched to Srixon irons this year, switched to Cleveland wedges also. The outrageous prices in the past few years has really turned me sour. Still using a very old TM driver, FW wood and hybrid. I don't foresee buying new equipment at the current over-inflated prices anytime soon.
** has there been any reports on carbon face failures yet??

  16. I wish they released the tour face of the stealth that isn't carbonwood that Tiger plays. Also Natlie Gulbis showed her Stealth2 clubs and they look the same as the current stealth.

  17. Not sure the real "why" behind keeping it concealed but from a business perspective, it makes sense. What I will say though is TM in my opinion definitely needs to work on the feel off the face of the next generation Stealth Driver. To me the current model feels dead no matter where it's hit.

  18. I have a Stealth Plus
I enjoy hitting it. I like the sound and feel. But I can't help but feel it's a work in progress still. I tried a TSR3 and that's what's in my bag now. Why? Because the TSR3 seems to be the pinnacle of what a manufacturer can do with titanium that has been used in drivers for a whole lot longer than full Carbonwood clubs. It makes the Stealth look like a prototype of where drivers could be going. The TSR3 feels like the best of where drivers have been.

  19. I played the Stealth Plus for most of 2023. It was replaced by the TSR2, which hit longer and straighter than the Stealth Plus

  20. Always screenshot the pictures when they’re up. I did last week minutes before they got taken down. 😅
