I was always taught to keep your head behind the ball. Watching you strike the ball, it appears your head is in front of the ball. Correct? Was I taught incorrectly regarding head position at address and at contact with the ball? This video seems to confirm why I my misses are fat and if I hit it solidly, why my ball flight is so high.
Great video as always Ali. Talking about not looking at the ball, I'm a 13 handicapper who had lost my way with striking the ball with all clubs up to driver except for wedges. Because I am a lefty who plays right handed and I am right eye dominant, I was told to try presetting with my head looking a clubs length behind the ball. Well I nervously tried it at the range two weeks ago and the results are unbelievable, my ball striking and distance are now better than ever. I have not been able to take it to the course yet because of the weather, but do you think this is a quick fix or a permanent pre-shot set up going forward?

Would a concept like this fix toe or heel strikes? Example, look ahead and a little further away from the centre of the ball to correct a toe strike?
