  1. My only concern with these DTC brands has always been durability. Can anyone comment on how they wear after 20-30 rounds?

  2. Hopefully the rest of the lineup doesn't get the clunky makeover with the new logo medallion on the back because that is ugly af.

  3. Would love to see you guys revisit the rest of the Sub70 659 lineup. The CB video with Mac was good, but any video like this with the three of you is really giving it the full treatment. Great stuff as always.

  4. Great review! Thanks for giving Sub 70 the love & respect they deserve. Any chance you all can review the 659 series as well? Such a good series of irons!

  5. Being a higher handicapper should I get fit by Sub 70 for irons or should I go to a store like 2nd Swing that has all the brands out there to get fit. I don’t wanna get fit into the wrong brand of irons….

  6. I've been told by Sub70 that these will be released LH. Looking to weaken the lofts probably 2 degrees to maintain a 4-5 degree constantly between the set. I dont want too much of a distance gap between them. Do you think that would be adding too much bounce to them?

  7. gaming the 699 pro and looking to move to 659 line… the 699's have been money this season, so why add another set.. Sub70 just makes great clubs. I have the 699 U too and for a smaller sole than like the 505's, I found the 699 U pro easy to hit.

  8. They sound really, really good – any comments as to how they sound compared to the newest iteration of P790/770 (can you even compare the 770s with the 699 Pro? Not sure they're directly comparable), Cobra Forged Tec/X, etc.? These are very, very high on my list of must-try as soon as they're available to demo. Great stuff as always, boys!

  9. Great video, would have loved to see a comparison to the previous models going up against the new models. Also, hit by the same person when comparing of course.

  10. Would be nice to see a comparison of the many CB irons…TM, Wilson, Mizuno, Titleist, Sub…etc..etc.

  11. So glad I bought my 699/pro combo set before they stuck that awful badge on the back. I get compliments all the time about how clean they look from people wanting to know what they are

  12. There should be a Direct to Consumer shootout between these, Takomo 101/101T, New Level, Haywood, Ram, etc. to see which is the best of the DTCs

  13. It is fascinating that I love watching you present golf information, even if the subject does not strongly appeal to me. Your partnership alone is very entertaining. Your golf knowledge is boggling. I also am happy to continually expand my knowledge of the game. Thank you.

  14. Interesting point about the lack of loft contributing to the low left hot pull. The lack of an extra groove on the face gives it an odd look, curious about performance out of the rough or wet, and the rounded sole doesn't fit the eye, but I like the badge… Looks are a personal choice

  15. Why do a hollow body if you’re just make the back look like a non-hollow body 😢

  16. Proud owner of the Gen1 699pros. Love the 659s and would change to those at some point in the future. Have to say, not a fan of the aesthetics of the new 699s. They look a lot more game improvement than the players distance look that we had before.
