I know exactly what you are talking about. My mate is constantly telling me I am going over the top. I have watched many youtube vids and now know I swing out-to-out. That will teach him, I out drove him at the range too, 322 yards!!! 😉 Great vid Jon see you tomorrow.
if I had $1 for every person that told me I have a flat swing…I ask them if they've ever heard of Ben Hogan. another time I was hitting balls on the range and the person next to me said my face was too closed at address. I said, "so? there's more than one way to hit a golf ball"

My very first pro teacher (sadly no longer with us) always said never listen to your friends…look at your divots in between lessons. Your divots will tell club path, club face, club axis (toe up, toe down) and angle of attack to a certain extend.
