The WORLD’S BEST Iron player CAN’T USE THESE GOLF CLUBS!?These NEW 2023 IRONS SCARE ME… But I LOVE IT! When we look at the newest irons on the market we often think about which irons we would buy and put in our bag… this often means what are the best irons of 2023? the best forgiving irons of 2023? or if you consider yourself a ball striker, you might want the best irons of 2023… the best blade irons even Collin Morikawa doesn’t use these irons into the long irons because they just aren’t forgiving enough! These irons scare me so much but for some reason I would absolutely love to put them in the bag!!! the new Taylormade P7MB irons… let’s do it… and let’s do it now!

There is no way I could hit these Consistent.. Look nice but Average Golfer would have difficulty playing with these.
Believe it or not, they are really easy to hit. I've had the 2020's since they first came out. 4-pw. Best investment!
Gorgeous, my skill set not up to these tho.
Colin must’ve been practicing 4 and 3 irons at the time of photo surely 😂
I’m getting too old for blades! Just don’t hit them far enough
Sure look nice though.

I love golf
Crikey James what is that wobbling about under your polo shirt when are you due !!!! When you walked on at the start of the video I honestly thought you were hiding something under your shirt I would suggest a few less beers would be a good idea !
Does all the paint full off this version as well?
Not good enough James. More practice required to get your striking points correct.
What a sandwich in the hands os a master…clubs are pretty as well. Not a chance for me with them
Robbo has always been strong, stress, marriage, no free time and success does the rest to us all.
Good vid for the tempted few. I suggest a 5 handicap or less.
I love the design of these irons, but them being smaller than the previous version is gonna push me away a bit. I really love that back design on the 7MB's, great review!
I love a small muscleback blade. I have mizuno 221's at the moment, these look like a worthy competitor from taylormade. My experience may not be the norm because my first set of irons were maxfli aussie blades when I was very young…but I keep coming back to blades because of the feedback. With more "forgiving" irons I seem to slowly develop bad habits without realizing it. With blades I know right away what is going on.
About Morikawa using the P7MC in the long iron and MBs is the short (Taylormade calls it P7CM), I think that this is just a publicity stunt. I bought the original P7MC and MB in 2020 and quite honestly, I don't think the MC is more forgiving. In fact, they play almost the same in my opinion, with the MC having a little bit more offset. Morikawa is not going to play better with the MC as the long iron.

Yes, James put them in the bag! Every time you hit them in the center you'll smile.
Perhaps you’re hitting them so well cause they are so small? Small concentration zone?
They scare the shit out of me – but look great 😅
To be fair to Taylormade they always make a nice looking iron especially the P series and their Woods look pretty good too. Great review James
James is obviously a very good player, but I'll wager for 90% of players if they stepped DOWN a level or 2 with their irons 90% of their shots would end up with a better result.
Watch Peter Finch (a YouTuber who spanks 95% of YouTube "pros") play with full on basically hybrid ultra game improvement iron and rave about them.
The diamond muscle is kinda ugly.
Al stick to my p790 s 🏌🙂👍well done James 👏
Amazing sandwich Chris.
Started golfing in 2019. Im a decent to a really good athlete. Played high level hockey since 4 years old. Started off golf using Mizuno 919 forged at a 15 handicap. Following year switched to the P770s dropped down to a 12 and switched again to the Mizuno 921 Tours. I found absolutely no difference in "forgiveness". Its either I hit the shot or not. More variables in the the way I swing to make contact and all natural factors than the marginal "forgiveness" in hitting around the club face.
TM would honestly be the last set of blades I'd put in play probably. They look nice enough but I prefer Srixon and Mizuno looks and feel. If I was going blade it'd be because of vanity and purely wanting a set for the hell of it. I'd just go all out and grab a set of Miura 502s.
Tbh, I actually prefer the look of the CBs.
James a little sad how much timber you’ve put on and how many adverts you’ve now allowed on you channel
Money I guess ?
I'd rather play a few shots off and enjoy the clubs i pull out of the bag, than pull out a pig ugly chunky thing i can't stand the look of… as you said, you're out to enjoy yourself.
Oh and shirt hanging out if you want to be taken seriously be a proper golfer
Need to fix your audio levels… way to quiet.
People on YouTube totally oversell how hard blades are to hit. I'm a 1-2 handicap and I find they are easier to hit than a cavity back. If I hit it bad enough that it's going to be a bad shot, having "forgiveness" isn't going to save me. I might as well have the greater shotmaking capabilities. Plus I find smaller heads easier to hit based on the way I swing.
3:14 – That club looks so good!
I love my 3i and if it was removed from my bag I would not want to play. Sadly, I can’t get anything LH in Taylormade irons other than their super chunky series club.
Yeah even Colin has CBs in 5 and 6 irons lol so a 3 iron MB on the first shot is a tad ambitious. Kudos for even trying it!
Who is this Coran Morikawa chap? he sounds like quite a good golfer.
Why do you keep saying xander in relation to playing these clubs? He plays callaway irons, woods and an odyssey putter! He plays the apex tcb's and they are brilliant!
