Mark Crossfield is diving into a swing analysis of Team Srixon and DP World Tour golf professional Ryan Fox. Ryan has had an unbelievable 2022 season but are there any gems we can take away from Ryan’s golf swing to help improve our own golf.

Love this analysis of Ryans swing. Definitely gonna play around a little bit over the winter with a stronger left hand grip and see how if I can match it up with body movement to get me more distance.
If there's one thing I could say to myself when starting golf, it would be to remember your swing is your swing. Don't copy anyone else's or expect to look like anyone else, we're all so different and should expect to swing the golf club in a different way. Body shape and size is never mentioned when starting golf, it's so important.
To me it looks like how a baseball player would hit a ball. JB Holmes obviously has a much different back swing but the transition and the way they hit the ball has similarities.
Thanks Mark, really good explanation. I will save my back and stick with my swing.
I think in time, he will have to modify his swing. His back will only take that type of punishment for so long.
Great stuff Mark. Love the way you go about instruction.
Great video. I feel too many coaches think everyone should hit the ball in the same way regardless of physical shape and constraints.
Genetics must play a part as his father could kick a rugby ball miles too !!!
Looks a lot like John Daly.
What about Padraig Harrington swing ??to analysis and how he has found distance into his 50s , what a super player he is
Is Ryan on youtube? You mentioned listening to him and i’m interested but can’t find his youtube
Ryan must have had, has, a good coach as they didn’t attempt to make his swing more conventional
Can you link to the person (Mark Ball?) you mention in the clip searching just doesn't seem to be finding much? cheers.
John Daly, pat perez, beef
Great observations Mark! Really well explained! Work with what works…. Love ya vids mate! Kia Ora from Ryans homeland! 👍🏽⛳️
Koepka?
It’s only the top half that stays back. The bottom half is virtually centred. He doesn’t sway as extremely as you indicate.
Despite the economic downturn, I'm so happy😊. I have been earning $ 60,200 returns from my $7,000 investment every 13days•❤️
Do hid3ki
Was Ryan a Cricketer in his youth. ??
iv'e searched Mark Ball, just get how to mark a ball!! any chance of a link pls Mark
Brooks !
Just taking parts from what you explained that may help individuals Mark I always struggle with launch angle on my driver and thinking possibly left foot open a little may help deliver more angle to hit up better ?
great session. I struggle with going left and find it impossible to fade or even slice the ball. I'll give the flared out foot a try and keep the handle pointed forward.
Kind of more like a haseball swing than golf.
Great vid Mark. Where can we find ‘Mark Ball’ to listen to?
Skinny build players are more easily to turn also more and faster, cause they have short levers from spine to hip sockets. The moment of inertia of the pelvis/hips turning is lesser than wide hip build.
That was a really cool video, cheers Mark
Love to see Ernie or Fred couples swing, Woosnam was a solid unit
The basic of his swing is similar to DJ
