  1. kerrod, i like the idea of the sort of freewheeling clubhead but how do we not turn it into a flip type action? thnx.

  2. I am a senior golfer almost 80 years old and I started relaxing my grip flaring my toes and dropping my back foot back 3 inches and I have been hitting the ball about 25 yards farther than I did when I was

  3. Kerrod, where are you on the debate about the wrist action is more flexion/extension versus radial/ulnar? It seems there is a growing move away from the latter. Thanks!

  4. great description: since I started playing golf, I have always wondered about the position of the clubface at the top, and I always felt when I did it correctly, it felt open. I wonder how many others have had this feeling? while I know you are right, I still lapse into the closed position at times, and do not realize it! I have been golfing for 60 years!

  5. Great video! I remember they said Ben Hogan hit the bal with his forearms and this is probably what they meant. Thanks , I look forward to practicing this.

  6. this is one of the main things that confuses me all the time. this would be the best lesson, and best explanation I've seen on this, thank you.

  7. Great work! Well explained thank you!
I always felt it was way too open doing that but makes much more sense now

  8. i feel like this is so important but not a lot of players do it. So many try to control as many parts of the swing as they can when really they should be working with your body.

  9. Hi Kerrod. I’m new to the channel and absolutely loving the content. Question on the rotation of the lead forearm. I know that the forearm can rotate independent of the upper arm/shoulder. However, in the takeaway portion of the backswing, is it the forearm that pronates/rotates to P1 or just a slight pronation of the whole arm? Not sure if that makes sense or not.

  10. Thanks so much bad habits to correct to my self. Still love the sport. Thanks for your good explanation. Working on it. Oscar canada .

  11. This has changed my game this summer. Shot 2 under(70) yesterday. Ball striking is next level. You described this perfectly, by the way. Great “game changing” video.

  12. This is golden advice. Although this method requires a little bit more timing and can lead to inconsistency it produces a much more effortless swing.

  13. For me its icredibly hard to find out what really happens in a good golf swing. I repeated the exercise starting at 1:37 and for me it seems that the hand rotation (180°) comes from rotation of the arms in the shoulder sockets to an amount of about 90° and pure forearm rotation to an amount of likewise 90°. Does anybody agree and does this also happen in a golf swing?

  14. I had this lesson today – hence found this video to consolidate my learning 😁😁
