  1. Great visual. My 'good' swing is similar but I found this a different way – I try NOT to turn the club at all with my arms until the last 15% of the swing – I only allow the club to move by turning my back (the back being behind the belly) – this keeps the club from coming inside. Once my back stops turning, I then allow my arms & upper back to move a little more. Since I like to rock the Matt Wolff down-cock load, I fall short of the perfect Cogorno/Tiger position at the top

  2. Like these drills! Really solid full turn. I like to feel like the trail arm keeps straight also at the start of the core turning. Helps my posture , preventing me getting too flat.

  3. Eric you have had a lot of greats on your podcasts/videos over the years but JTThomas takes the cake! He is way ahead of the rest when it comes to understanding and teaching golf and new directions as well as perspectives. Well done in seeking him out. I fully understand even an experienced golf instructor such as yourself would seek instruction from JTT. A great addition to your teachings.

  4. This is excellent Eric!!. It is a bottom up – core, shoulders and the arms just follows vs arms, shoulders without the core being engaged. It also helps the downswing as the core is aready engaged ready to follow the legs. Thank you

  5. Didn’t see the link for JT ‘s info and where he teaches, could you send me his info.

  6. Wow! This really works! Why haven't I seen this before? Great instruction guys! A good feel for me, is turning the top edge of my belt buckle to the inside of my trail knee. If I twist any further than that with the lower body, there is nowhere to go with the upper body/chest turn and the best I can do is a 3/4 turn. If I do a slow twist with the belt buckle, followed by a more aggressive turn back, with my chest, a lot of problems that were caused by insufficient turn disappear.

  7. Anther great video Eric! I’ve got quite the collection of your videos saved for the work I need to put in this winter 💪🏼
With out a net, gonna be doing allot of slow motion swings in hope to ingrain some of this greatness by spring! Look forward to next video

  8. Beautiful explanation so much insightful knowledge where is knowledge comming from feels so good especially to someone like myself who has always struggled to get to 90 degrees properly never tks for this

  9. This is a great topic and explanation! In regards to having the depth late – are your arms disconnecting from your turn? I think it’s easy to overdo your “#1 backswing drill” with the tee in the butt end that you try and get to touch the trail thigh
