Excellent demonstration and explanation Alex on hitting a much longer and straighter ball. I can vouch for what you are advocating because I have an in to out swing path with driver and fairway woods. I not only get a longer ball, but my shot has a lot more consistency and accuracy. Sometimes pick a bit of discolouration on the tee then peg it up so that the mark is a foot back and "inside". Then I smash it OOB right with a massive block 🤣. Only joking 😀

Your intentional mis-hit right is straighter than my unintentional miss right!!
See I know this already but still do the other thing. If I focus too much on swinging in to out I hit a duck hook . I do hit some great straight drives sometimes, but every now and then that big high over fade happens.
Kind of confused. The instruction explains how to visualize and hopefully swing in to out by imagining a backswing closer to your back and foot and follow through further from your front foot. How does this impact face being open or closed at impact? You can swing in to out with a closed, neutral, or open face using this technique.
I have a huge dog leg left at 238 to fairway I can’t hit a wood so I hit my driver in the first scenario and I’m spot on.
