Ping G425 HYBRID Review – BEST Hybrid in the WORLD?

PING innovations Facewrap and Spinsistency combine to deliver greater distance and spin predictability so your approach shots reach greens and hold greens. A tungsten back weight on the extreme perimeter helps increase MOI for more stability and forgiveness. Available in 2H thru 7H.

Spinsistency™

A complex face curvature modifies the roll profile, mainly low on the face where loft decreases, to bring more consistent spin performance and increase ball speed for added distance.

Facewrap™

The thin, high-strength maraging steel face wraps into the crown and sole to increase flexing for faster speeds that result in greater distance and high-launching shots.

Alignment Guide

On the crown, a new 3-dot alignment feature (large dot in the middle) offers alignment guidance and inspires confidence at address.

Tungsten Weighting

A tungsten sole weight strategically positioned in each club increases the MOI in the stainless steel head for added forgiveness.

Easy Adjustability

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilizes a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions to customize your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.

Trajectory Tuning Chart

The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (3° flatter than std.) to further dial in your ball flight for the best results.

  1. Really good video and thanks for posting, would it be a viable option to replace a wood with a stronger lofted hybrid? I have a hybrid and then 5 wood but tend to use the hybrid more purely because I can hit it better. Wondering if a good option would be to drop the 5 for a stronger hybrid

  2. Nice vid, I've tried a G425 Hybrid once before, recalling it was straight but didn't really suit my angle of attack. Does Ping still use UST Mamiya shaft manufacturer for their stock offerings? I see you have a ventus blue s there?
How about a Hybrid for a non-picker or steeper AOA?
