Back in the day the European ball was smaller and Jack Nicklaus drove it to the back of the 18 at St Andrews with a persimmons wood. The small ball is longer.

Does this ball weigh the same as a regular ball? In the old days it was due to it being more dense that made it better in the wind.
Breaks par and complains about hitting it to 12 ft.! Honestly that was some good golf from you James. The ball forced you to club up and hit controlled shots.
