  1. Imagine you're standing on a penalty spot & you gotta get the ball under the crossbar – that's how I picture it for the 1st drill.

  2. Love this coach, this is something I’m taking to my practice. Inconsistent strike is costing me at the moment.

  3. Just started watching but this describes me to a tee, everything i hit comes down with snow on and fat a lot!🤞

  4. Brilliant, Coach. The mental focus is at the forefront of teaching. Connecting the mind and body action. My grandfather (PGA), used the headcover on the ground going back to the 1930s. Ha!

  5. Coach I been playing golf a while and having lesson my game has improved but I do still struggle to be consistent with an in to out path and trust me Ive tried everything! Have you got any suggestions? Maybe even a cheeky video on it? Appreciate it mate keep the vids coming! Thanks ⛳️ I already know about the head cover drill 😆

  6. Awesome Coach! Nothing like the feel of an easy rip through the ball! Great sequence of drills and clear intent.

  7. great tips coach, definitely give this a go next time I'm at the range. Keep the great content coming 👏👏👍👍

  8. Great tips. Been struggling with the things that you talked about. Fats, thins and a little out to in. Will certainly be trying them out

  9. I really like the idea of moving the ball forward in practice. I currently set up with my weight left, but don’t ever get a divot AFTER the ball. My iron shots are really good sometimes, but not always. By the way Coach, I broke 90 the other day. My journey has now found a new road! Thanks!

  10. Another great vid coach. Ball off the front foot works for me as well as marks closed faced drill

  11. Just watched this video and your pitching one: great ideas in both! Question for you that I can’t seem to find an answer for! Is there a desired launch angle for each club? I have heard half of the static loft is a good aim. ie 50 degree wedge should launch around 25 degrees. What’s your opinion on this Coach?

  12. Hi Coach. Great vid! As a rough guide, what kind of launch angle would you be looking for from a 32deg 7 iron for a stock shot from the fairway (appreciate that it all depends on what you’re trying to achieve shot to shot but a baseline number would be a good starting point)? Asking about launch angle as the range I go to doesn’t have clubhead data so I can’t see dynamic loft, only launch angle.

Also, how much difference does launch angle make in relation to swing speed with irons? Is there a point where a launch angle could be too low for a say lower swing speed rather than a higher swing speed? My ss is between 80-85mph with a 7 iron.

  13. I was struggling with fats and thins. My coach after looking at my swing and grip etc just put my towel 8 inches behind my ball and told me to bit the ball but not the towel!! Something as simply as that helped me get back the feeling of delivering the face in a far better place. Brilliant stuff coach, plenty to play with in the range during the close season!!! Keep it coming mate ⛳👍
