The best golf club testing is conducted with a robot, and it’s how all of the major manufacturers test their new golf clubs to make sure they are optimized for launch. But what does the robot golf club testing process look like, and what kind of data can be captured?
In this video, 2nd Swing’s Drew Mahowald meets with Cool Clubs CEO and Founder Mark Timms to showcase how Cool Clubs is using robot golf club testing to gather incredible data about golf clubs and further educate golfers in fittings. With the ability to gather data with robot golf club testing, Cool Clubs is on the verge of a breakthrough in the golf club fitting industry.

Nice. How far can the robot hit a driver? 🙂 Would be cool to see some ball tests to see differences in spin etc

Golf companies with robots like Cool Clubs have an opportunity to be of immense service to the golfing fraternity by making their club testing data available publicly. They could and would essentially be providing a universal library of comprehensive club data metrics (and for all varying swing speeds, low, medium and high , toe strikes, heel strikes, etc, etc) for eternal record. Would probably put a few YouTube testers out of business though.
