The SOLD OUT GOLF BALL that is KILLING THE PR-V1!?

The SOLD OUT GOLF BALL that is KILLING THE PR-V1!? These VICE Golf Balls ALWAYS SELL OUT… But I GOT SOME!? When Vice first released the new VICE PRO PLUS DRIP range of golf balls they where designed to go head to head with the Titleist pro v1… will they do that? Usually they sell out so fast you just can’t buy these golf balls!! But I got some, how do they compare? Let’s find out… and let’s do it now!

  1. In the US I can buy them at my local Walmart. I love these balls. Have tried other brands but keep coming back to these.

  2. These are my gamers now!!! Really enjoy them!! I actually have a box on sale at eBay currently! Shameless plug!! Lol

  3. I bought a box of Vice Pro Plus balls a while back to see what the hype was. It didn't take long before I realized I would never buy Pro V1s again.

  4. I haven’t had issue finding them on Amazon in the US. This is my normal ball. I started using them when I found one on the course actually.

  5. it appears that getting anything shipped from Vice is problematic at the moment. i ordered one of the new polo at the end of July and it turned up yesterday… the container is was shipped in had been held at Dover for reasons that Vice couldnt explain…. but the ball I find good as a Pro V1x

  6. I'm not sure why you keep saying this is an expensive ball. Here in the US, a single dozen bought off their website (and they ARE available right now) costs $35.99. A dozen ProV1s costs $49.99 – nearly 40% more. Buy 3 dozen and they're $32.49 a dozen, and buying 5 dozen or more costs $28.99 / dozen. That's about the same price as Titleist's, Callaway's, and TaylorMade's lower end balls (Velocity, Superhot, SoftResponse).

I use the Vice Pro; I just can't justify the extra expense of the Pro V1. I think the Vice feels a bit softer off the putter face, and the performance is really no different for me.

  7. I absolutely love Vise pro balls. I have them print my logo on them and give them to customers, they all love them as well. I buy in bulk and get them in two weeks or less. Walmart has drips all the time here.

  8. Best balls hands down. Working on a golf course, I find em and use em over the pro v1 and TP5 and chromesofts

  9. The vice ball is a great ball, the drip ball is cool looking and thus sold out. But vice us just as good as the pro v

  10. I have used pro v1 for a long time. Vice has a ten pack, two of each of their models. On course I hit the titleist and then a vice ball. For me the Vice Tour model was 15 yds longer with driver and 7-8 yds longer with irons. Three piece ball was excellent around the green. Bonus was quite durable. 5 dozen are $95. If you could would you compare it to pro v1 on your simulator? Thanks James

  11. If you aren’t playing the Spalding SD Tour you’re just throwing away your money.
Was a Srixon Z-Star user for two years before I found the SD.
    Will never go back.
Oh, and $21 a box is the caveat.
3 piece urethane and spins like a champ greenside.
    More durable than a Kirkland.

  12. I've been using Vice for 2 years, they perform the same as ProV1 period, from vice they cast half of proV1 period.

  13. I love these balls, and play them especially in tournaments, as I always seem to be the only one playing them. I like the feel, and hit them well around the greens. I also seem to be able to make them last without scuffing them up for a while.

  14. They are grey balls but for me Vice have lost their appeal because they used to be cheap (like £30 a doz) when DTC but they are the same price as a ProV now which just lost all the attraction. Seed are the new vice imo. Cheap and almost as good as pro V1.

  15. Been playing these and only these for a couple years now. Incredible durability and feel exceptional.

  16. Been playing vice pro plus now for about a year consistently. On trackman data the numbers were just so close to the ProV1. I play the white pro plus and I’ll tell you the drives seem long and the putts and landings are still soft! Every time I see them on the shelves at my local Walmart or Target I snatch a box up!

  17. For what it’s worth James, I believe you overpaid for the balls. In the US, those are $34.99 per dozen as opposed to $49.99 per dozen for Pro V1 or TP5 Pix, etc. And they are sold at major retailers like Target and Walmart, so they’re infinitely more accessible here than what it sounds like you’ve gone through.

That said, I’ve been playing these balls for a long time and I really enjoy them. Their price point and similar feel for me is what does it. But I can see your reluctance to play the ball if it is hard to get ahold the box. I would be happy to send you some if you ever run out.

  18. Cool! Glad to see my fav golf brand getting some love. James, I have many many dozen of all the drip colors. I can share a sleeve of each for you to play/collect.

    Cheers 🍻

  19. That’s my gamer….J Robb what’s in your bag …I’m waiting for more left hand options from Tekoma Golf

  20. I'd love to get the vice pro grip in yellow speckled. I played with someone who played the regular vice pro and it was a good ball.

  21. I found 2 of them at my local course. They have them in stock at my local Walmart, but not at pricing you can get from Vice's site. They are really a quality ball and a deal when you can buy in bulk. The Pro model is a 3+piece, and the Pro+ is a 4-piece.

  22. Vice Pros are a great ball…. They sell them at Walmart here in the states so they are more available …. I do find they scuff up a bit after a few holes but they still keep their performance so I keep using them till I lose them 😂 You featured a ball a month or so ago… Maxfli Tour CG …. performance is similar but they are a little cheaper and I like the GG alignment … so now I play those instead 👍👍

  23. Vice web only shows 1 color sold on on drip ball. Navy and orange. I play the pro soft and pro plus. Hell, they have them at Walmart, the drip also. UK I don't know how hard they're too get. I'm confused why you needed the 3U for 191. That should be a 6 or 5 iron with your distance.

  24. Love the normal Vice pro although never played the drip version

Not sure some the editing matches up with the simulator shots in the vid by the way. Hitting driver but then looks like an iron ball flight when switching

  25. I've use vice pro for a couple of years and love them, not the drip but pure white so I can see them.

  26. I play the vice balls (the pro plus version for some lower spin). 7.2 handicap

The green drips are my favourite design, whenever they are in stock If I have 1 dozen or less, I grab 5 dozen to have on hand.

The other colours do not show up as much as the green ones.

  27. I use the Pro Plus. The performance is great, and don't feel like the Pro V1 (Pro V1s feel like hitting rocks). Love the shade color (yellow fade to orange) and the neon red. Very easy to track in the air and find on the ground.
