  1. I would still game Ping Eye Twos. I actually kind of prefer the feel of older clubs. Recently I’ve been using Titleist DCIs. Not much distance, but I do like how compact they are.

  2. Ha ha!!! This is absolute gold!!! I bought a set of Ping i/3 o-size for under 200 bucks on ebay as a travel set. Instead of backup, forced me to bench my much newer set of Taylormades. I’ll give up distance for control and playability any day of the week. Really glad to see this one come to life!!! 👏 👏 👏

  3. I was always a fan of the Forged Hogan Edge irons, main competitor with Ping. I would stare at them in the pro shop wishing I could have that set.
So I would be curious to see an old school head to head between these two set of irons.

  4. Have these with the copper finish. They are about 40 years old! Usually them as part of a rotation I do. 😊. I always think Ping irons feel pretty good.

  5. I've seen 2 sets of these, not blue dot, for sale in the last 2 weeks. I often thought I should get a set.

  6. I took a quick look on the internet and it looks like the Eye 2 four iron was 24 degrees, while the Forged Tec four iron was 21 degrees. That's about a full club, which accounts for much of the difference in the two. I have a set of Eye 2 + down in the basement. As accurate as any iron I've ever hit, and I played them for a number of years.

  7. Back in the old days, those Ping irons were ULTRA glamorous, pretty rare and had really no technology compared to these days!
