  1. Regarding the loft's they seem to be a more traditional like a 36 degree 7iron not like the jacked up irons that are being pushed on to golfers today

  2. Re badge them for men no one will know and they will fly off the shelf. I have always played a light shaft, Cobra super light in all woods and hybrids. 45g Project X LZ in the irons. Works for me , get height an control.
I did change on driver because at faster speeds the light shaft causes more side spin so a regular TM Adventis Blue gets less spin more distance still with height and control. I suspect if Andy keeps the same tempo with his “man” clubs he will continue scoring well but unless you have a v quick swing speed light shafts help.

  3. Hi Andy love your videos, i have a swing speed of 75mph with my irons and up until a month ago i used reg graphite shafts in my irons but could never hit them clean and not the average distance.Went for a fitting and just for an experiment i used 40grm senior shaft irons and i have never hit the ball further higher and straighter in all my life, the club fitter was scratching his head , he said your speed dosent match the senior shaft but it works so go with it

  4. Great video! Would be keen to know what sort of carry distances you’re getting with driver and fairway woods? Also what are the shaft lengths compared to mens? I’ve personally thought about going to a 3 wood shaft in my driver

  5. Auto flex shafts are gonna a big deal soon Andy they'll be cheaper and more available …exactly like when graphite was introduced many years ago

  6. Too much macho bravdo crap these days …people still buy x stiff extra heavy and wonder why there crap 🤣🤣

  7. Andy…or are you just playing well mate 🤷‍♂️ guarantee you play again tomorrow bet its different

  8. Hi Andy,, just brought a set of pxg, 40g shafts,, they don't say ladies on them although they are,, had stronger lofts to offset the shorter shafts,, I'm a senior and love how you can still get fit to help maintain your game,, driver has a 42g shaft,,, do feel in control of swing and having great fun,, cheers Al 🤔😂🍺

  9. It would be interesting to see the comparison of these clubs vs men's,
    Which would be longer.
But get the swing weights the same.

I went from 65g to 55g on driver. The control went up as did the speed. So light clubs work if you can maintain a sense of feel / control.

  10. I got a lot better drives when I went for a short et and lighter shaft… more control, less slice. I may have lost 10 yards average per shot but my greens in regulation have increase.

  11. Excellent video. I picked up a barely used set of PXGs 0211s 6-PW-GW for $375. The shafts are senior shafts and weigh 50g. I normally used shafts 100+ g. My swing is much better with the lighter shafts. Also more repeatable.

  12. Many Golfers are by and large misogynist when it comes to females and golf, last week I played with a guy and on this particular hole yo need 168 to clear the water plus another 10 to make sure so I Tees up on the reds and off he goes with the are you on your period etc so I ripped into him why do we think women are inferior golfers its stupid. In my best years I hit a long ball but an female pro would batter me then and now. By the way of the reds his ball, yep wetter than mine.

  13. You might be on to something. I went to visit a friend and I wasn't planning to golf. We ended up golfing and I borrowed his wife's club. I had one of my best rounds ever. My friend (who is the better golfer) commented on the improvement in my game. I'm rethinking my clubs. Thanks for this insight.

  14. Most of us I would guess do use more forgiving clubs (game improvement). Likely many of them perform close to the same. Most average golfers don't have the club speed to really need stiff shafts, heavy shafts (slow the average golfer's swing really), or even ProV1 balls (can't compress them enough to really use their multi-core for more distance). I enjoy your videos because they are aimed at me. I'm older (56) and your advice is right at me.

  15. I am 30% disabled VET and just ordered the new JPX 923 Hot standards and hitting a 90 gram shaft I was fitted for and asked about going lighter and was told no, but I think it makes a difference in straight hitting because the heavier shafts were going right, because of weak swing speed

  16. I bought a set of Taylor Made Kalea clubs for my wife last Xmas and her game has improved so much and scoring well. Maybe I need to try them 🙂

  17. Lighter shafts are for faster swings ……to find the right clubs for you ,you need a real good fitting with a good fitter.

  18. I now have a bag of HB Launcher irons with 60g R shafts & I have dropped 3 shots since. Leave your egos at home & just enjoy the game.
