Today, Ian receives a full in depth putter fitting from Dr. Paul Hurrion, the creator of the Quintic Ball Roll System.
The Quintic Ball Roll Systems provide irreplaceable data on how the golf ball reacts after impact. Using high speed cameras and taking images, the information provided is invaluable when custom fitting a putter or practicing the putting stroke.
Ian learns quickly what exactly is working for and against his current gamer and is pleasantly surprised while testing a new putter. The Quintic hi-tech Putting Laboratory has already benefited many Tour Golfers including Bryson Dechambeau, Padraig Harrington, Rory McIlroy, and Danny Willett to name a few.
Let’s see which putter ends up in Ian’s bag!

Putter fitting is always so interesting. Great seeing what directions it can go. Thanks for the video!
I play on greens that have poa and bent mixed and they tend to get bumpy later in the day. My putter has 4* of loft, i see you have 1* Ian. Is this due to playing on smooth greens?
This video was AMAZING sooooo much to take in and showing how important putter fittings are!!
best putter related video i’ve ever watched. what a masterclass
Scary depth of refinement! I understand half of what is presented, I am curious of going in with my gamer and test it.
Ian your stroke was straight back and straight through but your putter has some toe hang so how important is it to match the stroke to the amount of toe hang? Based on your stroke I would have thought that a faced balanced putter would be better.
Great video and super informative. It was really amazing to see the system designer using the system. Ian, One really big question I had from watching this was to know what would have happened if you had changed the loft on your Scotty Cameron up a degree or more??? How would that have compared to making the change of putter? Can you follow up with that to show the difference? Would LOVE to see that comparison too. Thanks
